Very nice place to stay in London on a budget. Really, if you're looking for a true hostel experience, that's the place to be. The staff is super friendly (I would like to point everyone of them, but the only one I remember the name is Becky, who checked me in on arrival) and done everything they could to make my stay pleasant. The only downside was the fact that the toilet on my room was out of order, not big of a deal after all.

Next time I'm in London I'll be staying there, and I suggest you to do the same.

Thanks, guys!

User

This is the best hostel in the world. My home away from home. The staff is amazing you will almost immediately feel like family. You will get nothing but the best experience from staying here. I want to stay forever! I'd give it 10 stars if I could. Would come back time after time. The location is great, this place is amazing for making friends and memories. 1000% recommend astor Queensway.

User

Thanks Astor team for all. We visit the hostel the 3rd time now and we had nothing to claim. Some guests said that there is a lots of dust but this is not because the cleaning is bad, this is because the London air is bad. Every morning the bath was clean and the 1£-breakfast is good.

The location is fantastic. Near the Albert Hall with lots of buses and the station nearby. Thanks to you and your work. Marc&Kerstin

Just checked out today after staying for five weeks. My experience of living at a hostel for the first time has been excellent. The staff is really nice and they will help you with any problems you might have. They organize different events during the week (beer pong, board games etc), so being social and getting to know other people is easy. I lived in an 8-bed dorm and the room was well-sized for 8 people. I lived on the 6th floor, so during the summer/spring it might get rather warm inside the room, but there should be a fan to cool things down. You will be able to store things you buy in two fridges and a huge pantry. You can also cook to your hearths desire using the kitchen, which is fully equipped. There is also a washer and a dryer for you to wash your clothes. You get 'free' towels to use if you ask for them in the reception and also locks and adaptors (deposit required). It is highly likely that you will enjoy your stay at this hostel. I will definitely come back next time I'm in London!

If you're in London than that's the place to be , with the most amazing staff , long lasting friendships and last but not least endless fun nights every single day all week long !

Astor Queens Way is the reason I will be hopefully coming back to London again next summer

User

I was a bit apprehensive about staying in a hostel but I stayed in Astor Victoria and was made completely welcome from the start which was amazing as I was on my own. Such a friendly atmosphere and met some lovely people. Would 100% stay there again. Thank you for making my stay in London so lovely!

User

I stayed for six nights and it was so great. I just want to say thanks to everyone at Astor Hyde Park for introducing me to the hostel world, my stay was so enjoyable and I honestly can't wait to come back. The staff make it so welcoming and are always there to help!!!!

User

I stayed at Astor Victoria : very good location, nice and helpful staff; i would totally come back and recommend :)

User

I recently stayed at the Astor Hyde Park hostel. I loved it! I've stayed in hostels all over the world and this one was definitely in my top 5. It was very clean and organized. They definitely have their shit together. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. It was like a family. I personally loved Sergio! He greeted me every morning with a smile and worked hard to keep everything clean. They had a huge kitchen, good for cooking and multiple common areas to hang out and make friends. It was also in a pretty nice neighborhood. Right next to hyde park and multiple museums. Also close to the tube so you can get all around the city. If you're in London you should stay there for sure! It won't disappoint!

User

I had couple if nights in Astor Hyde park. Its really awesome

User

First time staying at a hostel in London and really loved staying at the Astor Hyde Park Hostel, staff where friendly, room was clean and tidy. Felt safe and really enjoyed my two nights at the hostel. We be staying here again next time I visit London

User

Amazing hostel, with so many nice people from all around the world! Helpful and lovely staff, you absolutely feel like home just right after you push the doorbell! :) I'll return for sure! :D

User

This was my first time staying at a hostel. It was a quite different experience all together. My room was large and my bed was by the window. I took a shower after a long day and laid in my comfy bed under a warm comforter. My roomies were very considerate and, at some point, someone turned the lights off. I just heard the sound of the fan all night long. I recommend this place to everyone who wants to stay in a upscale area and pay very little for a good night of sleep.

User

Nice friendly staff, Ana, Tita, Sergio and Manuel. Very accomodating, but beware of other unfriendly guest.

User

I recently stay in Astor Museum for 4 nights with my friends. The location is great, beside British museum, between 2 underground station. Walkable distance to most famous area, such as West End, SOHO, Covent Garden.

Staff are nice and very helpful. Although we (3 girls) live in 3rd floor and there is no lift, the Gentleman staff help us take the BIG luggage to our room. Thank you so much for their help.

The room and share area is nice and cosy. Dorm room is a little bit small. The share toilet is OK. Kitchen is a good place to meet new friends. They have nice 1 pound charity breakfast.

I could only said me and my friends have a wonderful stay in Astor.

Plus, Hadi the staff is Diva of the universe. 😎

User

-nice staff

To Nick Lombardmuseum@astorhostels.com

Nick & Reception,

Please do send that email confirmation of when you deleted the Beer Ping Pong FB video. I thought a hostel would provide the least service of atleast sending an email confirmation. Please do so asap or feel free to speak to my lawyer about it. I am hoping something as ridiculous does not need to go that far. Then again, the choice is yours!

Hostel Manager told me to stop ranting because I did what he asked me to do! He also asked me to give Astor Museum a good rating! I respected his wishes of not contacting him after having my post opened by another Hostel Manager & being treated rudely by some of the staff.

It started well and ended poorly. The hostel itself is great and clean. The Staff unfortunately questionable! Feel free to delete this review if you feel it is not a good review. Astor Museum has previously deleted negative reviews.

Still recommend it for a place to stay in London!

This hostel was not good at all. INFESTED with rats, the staff lives on the property, they were not helpful at all, always making noisy in the yard listening to loud music from the kitchen, and there are a large number of people who live there long term. There are also large groups staying. The facilities like the lounge and the kitchen are always packed by the large groups which can make them relatively inaccessible. Also because it's an old property the bathrooms are dirty and the rooms too. I don't recommend this hostel.
