Astra Antiques Centre

Without doubt our favourite antique centre. Friendly staff and dealers, great prices and a fabulous cafe doing the most divine home made soups.

Visited Hemswell Cliff auction centre got a bargain from the Astra found the Hemswell houses quite expensive would return to Astra to buy again and the staff were very warm and welcoming would reccomend any one to pay a visit.

Very good prices for trade always manage to buy a few pieces at Astra. We do enjoy the food always have lunch there.

THE place to find fabulous antiques, collectibles and vintage items, really competitive prices, with lovey helpful, friendly staff. Lovely food, drinks and cakes in the cafe too. Definitely the best of all the buildings at Hemswell.

Really love a trip round here, items are well displayed and well priced; picked up so many over the years. Barry and team couldn't be more helpful :)

The cafe serves decent food, and is more reasonably priced too.

I’ve been buying at Astra for 15 years now! I love this place! It’s the best & I’ve been all over Europe buying & Astra is still one of my favourites! Diverse, interesting stock, from Real Antiques to Mid Century & Vintage! It’s just such a fab place, with brilliant Staff too!!

I worked at astra over 20 years ago and wow what a change .. its beautiful now and well organised .

Have visited on a couple of occasions. Always worth a look around. Great selection of antiques. Just a shame I can’t afford one of those awesome pedal cars on the top floor!

Had a well earned weekend off and popped over for a look around, Nice mix of antiques and more modern collectables without becoming a junk store! Nice mix and will be back more often.

Fantastic pieces for sale and very friendly staff. Always lots of interest to browse through. The vintage clothing rooms always have lots of unique original buys.

Bought many an old quirky item, for our old quirky house. Returned many times and will continue to do so! Recommended for a mooch, a cup of tea and slice of cake!
