Astral Training

Apprenticeships for those in work, and Programmes for the Unemployed training provider based in High Peak, but covering from Manchester to Doncaster, York down to Birmingham!

Astral Training was launched in December 2011 primarily as a Health & Social Care training provider, covering South Yorkshire and the East Midlands. Having already trained over 270 Health & Social Care professionals through the Apprenticeship programme, we have recently extended our offer to include Apprenticeships in Customer Service, Business Administration, Team Leading and Management.
Astral initially focused on training learners of all ages who currently work in their chosen sector. This is being broadened out to offering a recruitment service to young people, where we promote your CV and interest to Health & Social Care employers for those interested in working in a care environment, either as a care assistant or in an administrative /service role within care.
Our Apprenticeships are 100% work based, with no day release to our offices. All aspects of our training are delivered one to one, so you know you are receiving our assessors undivided attention during your training sessions, Your Health & Social Care employer will also provide ongoing training for you throughout your first 12 months in the workplace.
All of our assessors have many years of experience working within and managing in a care environment, ensuring that you are supported and guided by those who really know your work inside and out. Our courses are all available at L2 (Apprenticeship) and L3 (Advanced Apprenticeship). All include Functional Skills in Maths and English.
