Little Millie will be coming out on solo walks with me from next week 🐾😊

This is a great way to practice timing if you use a clicker/verbal marker to capture a behaviour you want 😄 I got it first time, can you manage to get it first time too? 🙂

A great resource, it's so important to be able to recognise subtle indicators of stress to prevent our dogs feeling the need to go over threshold when they encounter things that worry them.

This is a good way of thinking when training your dog. It's important to be aware of what training criteria you're setting for them and whether it'll be achievable for your dog to succeed. Variables to consider are distraction, duration and distance (3 Ds).

We played tug, did a scent game in the garden and did a short walk which included building positive associations with things going on around us 🙂

Theo is a nervous rescue dog that's unable to see with being blind.
Since living with his new family I've gone round to do a 30 minute home visit weekly and gradually seen progress where Theo will play with me, take treats and for the first time today he jumped on the sofa and chilled with me!
... Soon I think we'll be able to start going out for a walk wants he's feeling more confident with me 🐾😊
