Atelier Coda

Atelier CODA is the new independent RTW brand making its mark on the sustainable fashion scene. It is the brainchild of Misha Chylkova, who was a key player in Victoria Beckham's luxury fashion brand from its inception in 2008 until recently, and later a Senior Atelier Consultant for The Vampire's Wife. Misha is also a musician and an established member of the London music community where, up until the start of the pandemic, she'd perform at the venues that have now had to temporarily close. The label merges Misha's environmental conscience with luxury fashion and her passion for the independent London music scene. It creates items that women and men will cherish and that will last, whilst also giving back to an industry that has given her and others so much joy. Atelier CODA creates garments as ethically as possible, using sustainable fabrics, including bamboo, viscose, organic cotton, recycled or ‘deadstock' fabrics and trims. All offcuts are recycled into new materials, with sampling, production and graders kept local, providing an eco-friendlier form of clothing production. All of our packaging is made from recycled and recyclable materials. Created as limited-edition collections, Atelier CODA will produce several drops annually, each one inspired by, and named after, an iconic UK grassroots music venue, with a percentage of sales going directly to the venue. Current unparalleled times are presenting these wonderful places with imminent danger to their survival. But survive they must: not only do they provide opportunities for thousands of artists, they also nourish our souls with art and love, without which the fabric of our society would fall apart.
