WHY WE DO ITHere at Athena, we want to do away with the perception that living in a care home is something to put off for as long as possible, or even fear. We want to make the experience a positive move for those involved; providing a progressive setting, where our residents can regain lost independence, have great social lives and lead a varied and active lifestyle. Our focus is on enabling residents to lead fulfilling lives, removing the limitations usually associated with old age and dispelling the clichés affiliated with care homes.
