Luxurious bed and breakfast in The Lizard Village. Positioned down a quiet lane but on the edge of the village, this is a quiet area but within walking distance of the village with all its amenities. Great if you like walking on the cliff top or sitting on a beach, also not far from some beautiful sub-tropical gardens. We have superb sea views and tranquility.

We are overwhelmed to have received this beautiful lead crystal German decanter for being a finalist in the AA Awards. The framed accolade was a lovely surprise too! Now this is an excuse to break open a lovely French bottle of red wine and decant it 🍷🍷 Cheers everyone!

We are so delighted to have received this amazing award from the AA. Sadly we were unable to attend the ceremony in London due to having a full house.
Flossie is home! She is so pleased to be back and is enjoying her food and much attention. Thanks to Rosemullion Veterinary Practice Ltd for taking very good care of her and giving her relief from her back pain 🙂
Dear Flossie is rather poorly and has been admitted to Rosemullion Veterinary Hospital in Falmouth. She is being well cared for and monitored by such wonderful staff. She appears to have hurt her back. Rosemullion Veterinary Practice Ltd

The renovation of our beautiful Pentreath guest room is finally complete. Today we have hand sewn some super blackout linings into the matching Laura Ashley willow pattern curtains.
Today we have replaced our clocks in the guest bedrooms with some stylish “silent sweep” alarm clocks. These were designed by Newgate World and we love them!

It is spectacular weather and so warm today. We’ve all been outside and soaking it up. Gorgeous!
We’ve had a busy day prepping for the B&B. Beautiful homemade marmalade and a gammon joint roasted with sage, honey and mustard - yum! As the season starts again we are so pleased to say that we are busy this week and have a bumper crop of advance bookings. February brought many wonderful bookings too. We look forward to meeting our many guests in our lovely Edwardian home. Update: Our Louis is continuing to do well health wise. Despite his restrictive cardiomyopathy the daily regime of drugs are controlling his condition and he is so comfortable now! His artful and persuasive ways are increasing and he loves being carried everywhere and being fed on demand while he replaces his lost weight. So far in a month he has regained 5% of his body weight. Flossie on the other hand is having behavioural issues which we are persevering with.
We are thrilled to see Michael’s professional conductors’ stand being put to good use at St Albans Abbey today and for the joint schools’ concert tomorrow night. We wish them a very happy and successful concert. We would love to be there.
Update on our Louis: He has settled at home nicely and is gradually regaining his appetite and perkiness! The helpful aids like steps and comfortable orthopaedic bed have been met with suspicion! He even jumped over the steps to land on a chair! The bed has been adopted by Flossie! The visit and tests at Rosemullion Veterinary Practice Ltd with Paul Cockerham was excellent for the short term. He will be on heart medication for the time we have left with him but for now he is happy and comfortable.
