ATLANTIC EXPLORER AND ROGE ROV TASKED FOR SUBSEA SALVAGE AND DEBRIS REMOVAL
The ROGE ROV system was tasked to proceed to an offshore wind farm (UK) to locate, survey and remove an anchor and cable from the seabed.
This was completed in just a few hours, and included a scope attaching a subsea air lift to the ROGE ROV to remove sand and waste to expose the anchor cable. Following this, a small wooden wreck was removed from a cable corridor using the ROGE ROV system quickly a...nd efficiently! This proves the ROGE ROV system in yet another scope of work - diver-less, fast and low cost. Why use any other system!
We are back again with the ROGE ROV system in January for a UK windfarm (boulder removal) and a Baltic Windfarm - also boulder removals!

MPSV ATLANTIC TONJER GETS A NEW LEASE OF LIFE:
The offshore multi role and support vessel, Atlantic Tonjer, left dry dock in Newcastle yesterday having completed a major scope of renewals on her propulsion systems for the major 5 year class renewal. All thrusters and main propulsion systems, machinery and and other systems stripped, inspected and overhauled as required.
... The ship is now available for charter for Walk to Work - ROV services - Accommodation support - ROGE ROV - Diving etc and is all ready for the next 5 years of service.

The Atlantic Marine Group are now the proud owners and managers of Atlantic Tonjer.
Following a 7 month bare boat charter to Atlantic Marine and several successful charter projects for the DP2 MPSV Atlantic Tonjer, we are proud to announce today that the Atlantic Marine in conjunction with Castle Ship Management Ltd have today changed from managers, to owners and have completed the acquisition of 100% of the title to the ship from the mortgage holders and former... bank interests.
The vessel is now 100% owned and managed within the Atlantic Marine group and offers a low cost DP2 platform for charter with helideck, SPS code for 50 passengers, 50 ton heave compensated crane, large W-ROV Hanger and IMCA diving compliant DP reference systems.
Despite the current downturn in the offshore industry, I hope this sends a clear message that Atlantic Marine are fully committed to the future of the offshore and renewables business. Although this will be a hard winter, we can see the huge volumes of work coming in 2018 onward from the offshore renewables sector, and also with work ramping up in oil and gas in 2017, we are now poised to support our clients in this improving market.

ATLANTIC CARRIER and the ROGE ROV SYSTEM:
We continue to expand the offshore capabilities for the ROGE ROV. This time, cable tracking using the TSS350 installed onto the ROGE ROV provided excellent results as the stability and heading control way exceeded that offered by a free flying ROV. This was followed by mattress lay using the MDS3 Mattress Lay System - 3 matts at a time! Finally, the ROGE ROV is used to survey and inspected the installations with her subsea HD camer...as and SONAR.

Atlantic Explorer assisted in a coastguard helicopter yesterday! Explorer was approached by the coastguard to see if they could do the drill on the vessel, which we were only to happy to assist with!
Atlantic Enterprise has two of these mini CTV workboats already on board. The aft winch is being removed and seating for 8-10 turbine workers is being installed. The bows already have a great route past the offset wheelhouse, and steps/handrails fitted to permit easy access onto the ladder. Expected transfer conditions 1M /H/S.
