Atmosphere Electric Bikes Ltd

Following news of an up an coming major road closure and diversion in my local area; and being told my daily commute of 4 miles will take twice as long, I decided to look for alternatives. I was able to borrow an electric bike from Dorian at the CREATE centre as part of a council scheme to get people on bikes. (there was a little waiting list!). I loved the experience and decided that I wanted a bike of my own.
Reading reviews, I discovered that Atmosphere was the place to go in Bristol and popped down one afternoon. Parking was easy and the advice was fantastic! I was able to discuss my wants and needs and hey presto a bike was chosen a Wispa 705 SE. How long was the wait for this wonder machine? - less than a week and was easily fitted in with dropping my hire bike back into town. When picking up, I purchased a pannier and as it didn't fit on the frame, was given an additional frame. Some excellent directions to get me home safely to Winterbourne (who knew that the cycle path started in town) and I was off! A fabulous journey home and I was bitten by the bug.
Gradually increasing my cycling 'gear', I was commuting in all winds and weathers and loving it. Any excuse was made to 'pop to the shops', visit my daughter or just go for a ride - it was easy. No worrying about the hills on my route or being too tired to get home.
Disaster struck 7 weeks in. Rushing to get to a dentist appointment (for a filling of all things), I didn't ensure the handle of my pannier was safely tucked away. Cycling in a rain storm, the handle caught in the gears and disabled them, leaving me 3 miles from home. Thankfully the motor, working independently, dragged me up the hills to the dentist who then decided a filling wasn't needed! Getting home, I had an emotional moment. Had I written off the bike? I couldn't afford a new one. What had I done? Hubbie wasn't too optimistic either, so I got on the phone to Atmosphere. Calmed down and reassured that all would be well, I put the bike in the car and drove down the same day. With help to get the bike out, I was assured once again that they could sort it (although they had seen nothing like it before!). A sleepless night and a car commute later, a text arrived mid morning saying the bike was ready. I couldn't wait to leave the office to collect my pride and joy.
On arrival, my bike was ready and waiting. After being helped to put it back in the car, I waited with trepidation for my bill. £20!! I couldn't believe it. "I managed to fix it - I enjoyed the challenge" Wow!! I am so happy (and so is my husband) What an absolute fantastic example of customer service. I am shouting your names from the rooftops and spreading the word throughout the 10,000 other people I work with. No-one is safe from my huge adoration of you guys.
Thanks for converting Bristol - 1 bike at a time - and thanks for your care, consideration, expertise and general loveliness. I will never go anywhere else for my bike repairs and purchases (although I hope never to have to go through that experience again (Handle now removed!))

Although the bike wasn't purchased from Atmosphere Bikes they dealt with the Bosch system problems quickly and effectively
If I was buying a new bike I would go to them first

It's great to see an independent shop doing what they do best, providing a personal service.
The staff here are friendly and personable and happy to give you all the time and attention you need, clearly knowledgeable and very helpful.
If you are looking for an electric bike and want service from someone that actually cares, you won't do better than here.
