Almost all occupations involve a degree of risk and it is essential that the right manual handling techniques are used to avoid potential injury due to improper lifting techniques. We cover a number of practical elements on our training course giving it a critical edge over our online manual handling course we offer. Apart from meeting the above regulations, this is designed to provide an understanding of the correct principles and to be able to apply them to their own work environment, also covering the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.

This OFQUAL recognised Paediatric First Aid provides theoretical and practical training in first aid techniques that are specific to infants aged under 1, and children aged from 1 year old to the onset of puberty. Learners will become familiar with the role of the paediatric first aider and be able to assess and react appropriately to an emergency situation, such as a child or an infant who is unresponsive, has an airway obstruction, has breathing difficulties or is suffering from shock or anaphylaxis.

This network rail PTS card renewal course are intended for candidates who wish to continue working on or near the line on Network Rail’s infrastructure. It includes working near or adjacent to a DC Conductor Rail, and wish to be re-certificated and maintain their Sentinel card.
It is the Sponsors responsibility to ensure candidates booked onto the PTS refresher course are eligible for the training they receive and are in line with any relevant medical level or restriction that may apply, in accordance with NR/L2/OHS/00124 Competence Specific Fitness Medical Requirements.
