Jaguar F Type V6 Convertible - New Car Exterior Maintenance Wash
Orange is the new black! We recently performed an exterior maintenance wash on this fantastic looking Jaguar F Type. After a thorough wash and fabric roof deep cleanse, to remove all the road grime, we left the F Type looking stunning again ready for its next outing in the sunshine!

It’s all about the details! #ATD
This evenings task consisted of polishing a pair of tarnished exhaust tips. Using a fine metal polish we managed to turn these tips around to an “as new” condition again! (See the before & after pictures)
Once they were fully polished we had them ceramic coated (safe to 800+ degrees) to prevent future road contaminants and exhaust fumes from tarnishing again!

Audi RS6 - New Car Maintenance Wash
Last weeks highlight was this stunning metallic blue Audi RS6 in for a maintenance wash. After poor dealer prep the RS6 wasn’t looking as good as it should for a new car, and so we worked our way around the car both inside and out leaving the RS6 looking how it should!

BMW M4 - Enhancement Detail
We thought we would show you the BMW M4 that we recently detailed (before our big studio revamp!)
When this M4 came to us it had seen better days, the first two years of its life it had rarely seen a car wash... or any wash for that matter!
... The paintwork was littered in contaminants which took the ATD team several hours to remove safely.
After a full day of washing and decontaminating we rolled the M4 into the studio where we began a single stage paint correction. This removed the majority of the light swirls and other paint defects which previously robbed the paintwork finish. The single stage correction hugely enhanced clarity, leaving the pearlescent paintwork looking absolutely stunning again!
To protect the freshly detailed paintwork we applied Gtechniq’s EXO (hydrophobic ceramic coating) which further enhanced the ‘gloss’ of the paintwork whilst keeping it looking freshly detailed by protecting the paint from the elements in future.
Before handing the keys back, we did a final ‘toothpickery’ check to make sure every aspect of the BMW was flawless.

Ferrari 599 GTB - Protection Detail
Recently we had this beautiful Ferrari 599 in for a protection detail. After a thorough wash and decontamination we treated the paintwork to Swissvax Onyx chosen by the customer.
After a good few hours of (as Mr. Miyagi would say) wax on-wax off’ we left leaving this 599 looking gorgeous again!

Ferrari 355 - Maintenance wash after minor paint correction detail
We recently had the pleasure of performing an exterior maintenance wash on this Ferrari 355 Spider after it came to us a year ago for a minor paint correction detail. The paintwork is still flawless and the ceramic coatings are still performing as they should! Photographs really do not do this car justice.

Mini Cooper SD Convertible - Protection Detail & Roof Protection
In this week we had a very cool looking Mini Cooper SD in for a Protection Detail. To start the day we treated the Mini to a full wash making sure every aspect of the car was clean.
Once the car was washed we started with the decontamination process. After a chemical decontamination, any remaining contaminants were removed using a clay bar. The 4+ years of contamination embedded within the paintwork certainly ...‘robbed’ the paintwork finish!
Before we brought the Mini into the studio, we gave the fabric roof a deep clean using various soft brushes and fabric cleaners to remove all the dirt and moss from every crevice.
We then turned our attention back to the paintwork, applying a pre wax oil. This gives the wax a good base to bond to, as well as removing light marring and swirling by the micro abrasives in the oil.
One coat of Swissvax UK Best of Show wax was then applied leaving a beautiful paintwork finish! The depth of shine was really enhanced.
The wheels were next to receive a coat of wheel wax, which will help to repel road grime and brake dust in future.
The roof received a coat of fabric guard to help reduce the risk of moss build up and staining in future. A must have for any convertible owner!
To finish, we applied dressings to the plastic trims, tyres and thoroughly cleaned the glass before finishing with a thorough check over.
We handed the keys back to one very happy owner!

It has been another busy week for ATD! In between the ATD HQ improvements we have treated this Range Rover Sport to a full maintenance wash. After being left under a tree for 2 weeks the car was covered in tree sap, but after a thorough maintenance wash later and it was back to its former glory!

It’s shining bright down at ATD today! Stage 2 of the studio improvements is complete! New electrics and spotlights are now installed.
These things don’t just look pretty, they also pick out every minor imperfection in the paintwork. It’s all about the details!

Left my M4 with Harry whilst I was away for a few days. Came back to find a car that was in better condition than when I picked it up when it was new. The paintwork had seen better days in the last three years and I was amazed at the job Harry had done, just to sort the paintwork is a terrific job. Very happy 5 stars from me!!
