Has anyone come across an interesting note in a second handbook? I know I have read a few that made me smile,but I can't remember them.

Philosopy books very hard to burn! Have been experimenting with lighting fires in the shop. Delighted to say that the books don't catch light as easily as we thought. So we are definitely going ahead with Rat Bit Kit's Kurious Kampfire for Lancaster Live in October!

A message from the Cornerstone Cafe on Sulyard Street, next to Dalton Square: If people want to make a placard that Celebrates Humanity and Hope, then The Cornerstone Cafe is opening for people to do so. Come along for 4pm to make a placard, just bring your cardboard and we'll provide an artist to build your confidence and some marker pens. The cafe is staying open for longer on Friday to ensure there are accessible toilets and the Changing Place for all at the demo, of course and also food and drink to take away to the picnic or to eat in.

While everyone else was watching football I thought I had better prepare for the imminent arrival of Donald Trump.

Curlew on the Causeway is my current ear-worm! Tuneful, clever, cheerful and poignant. We hope they will return to Atticus for the Lancaster Live festival in October as part of the fantastic line up we are currently planning.
