Great session catching a 70lb white sturgeon, chilled after releasing her back in under my rods for about an hour, must have been nackered after the 20 minute fight to land her lol and 18lb leather/mirror carp to finish the session through the night! Happy days!

Quick overnighter on the 16th june at Mineral Lakes resulted in 2 common carp one at 12lb and one at 14lb, it was a very hot day, high air pressure, and a full lake only 4 fish out between 14 anglers, so i had a good session to be fair. All caught on Nemesis boilies!

Fished lake 1 makins today, arrived about 11:30 am and after talking to a few people around the lake I wasn't very hopeful, lads had been on there hours and hadn't even a bite!
... So I had to think outside the box... they were all on one side fishing into the wind so I took myself to the other side of the lake fishing into the wind, towards the middle there was a island which I was fishing too on a enigma based boilie, sitting about 6 ft from the island on a short inline lead rig, size 6 fox curve shank hook tied on with Korda stiff coated braid, hook screw, with the boilie sitting nicely on the back of the hook I was sure if a fish picked it up I would hook it.
Within 20 mins I had my first mirror weighing in at 15.2 followed by a second within 30 mins being a single figure mirror.
A couple hours went by and I had a double take weighing in at 10.3 and 13.6
All in all I had 6 carp all but one being double figure and all on the enigma based boilie.
Nobody else caught on the lake, think outside the box... have a decent boilie and your chances become very good!

Quick over nighter on 28th May on a new venue for me... Wilden Pools! 3 carp in total, well happy as first time on the lake i caught, all caught on the new test bait Nemesis pop ups over a bed of Nemesis boilies 12lb, 15lb and 11lb

Been out for a day at my local .managed 8 carp all on the test bait wafters. Was stunned by the amount of pick ups as was only fishing singles casted to showing fish. Nothing massive .biggest 14.14 and the smallest about 8 lb..i did far better than expected .looking forward to the res on Thursday ..

I jumped on a lake i know before my holiday (18th may) for a quick overnighter, i ended up having 11 carp in total, weights 14lb 3oz, 15lb 6oz, 18lb 6oz, 17lb 4oz, 14lb 4oz, 14lb, 8lb, 13lb 8oz, 17lb, 16lb 7oz, 17lb 2oz, quality quick overnighter, before spawning! All caught on Nemesis boilies and pop ups, over a bed of crushed Nemesis!

So I decided to join my brother Bradley on a 24 hour session, which ended up staying a further 24 hours at Rib Valley lakes in Heatfordshire. Due to sights of carp starting to show in my peg.
... The session ended as a statement I will remember for a long time. I just started packing up when my left hand rod had a beep which got my attention. With nothing else occurring I continued packing my gear up. Only a few minutes pass by and to my shock the middle rod goes into a full blown screamer. Straight away into the fish it didn't really feel like a chunk, however when under the rod tip it wasn't going to give up easy and my first glimpse of the fish when it flat rodded me. Heart in my mouth I realised it was one of the biggest ones in here and a sy of relief when it finally slipped over the cord of the net.
Zero the sling and I just couldn't wait to see the weight she were, as I new this was a awesome capture in this lake. Topped the scales at a whopping 31.02LB beauty of Common Carp.
The business that done the damage was Attraction Baits new test bait white pop up, fished over New test bait freebies and TN1.

Team Member Lee Hatton and his Daughter Jaime Hatton get out on the bank, here is his report:
Needing to get out on the bank this weekend, loading the car was a must. The little one was pestering me she wanted to go and I couldn't refuse. Checking the weather and forecast rain most of it was not putting me off at all especially me daughter Jaime. I arrive at Shaterford lakes Friday evening missing the rain I manage to quickly set up just as the heavens open...ed up. As quick as I could I get my two rods out in places I saw carp showing one in the margin other against the island. Using the catapult I spread out a few boilies around each rod. Wasn't long before the left hand margin rod went and I was into my first carp of the session. A loverly low double Mirror graced the net and was looking like it was going to be a good session, even if I was soaked at this point. The next 30 hours produced a lot of rain and another 6 carp up to 17lb with some right stunning scaley mirrors amongst them. Jaime setting up a little contest she managed to get 63 little roach and perch on her maggot rod along with a nice common carp. She beat me and got the bragging rights.
All my carp fell to the New Test Bait pop ups fished over the new test bait freebies!

I decided to fish my new syndicate a quick move at 6am this morning and I have managed to put this beautiful 20lb mirror on the bank ! Falling to the new test bait pop up on a stiff hinge doubled over chod filament with 20-30 freebies scattered over the top.

Just got back from a 24 hour session ,feeling really happy with my results.I used solid bag tactics again. This time choosing to fish over a larger bed of test bait,hoping the bigger fish would hang around longer. It certainly worked as most of the fish were bigger than average.

The squid and plum fished together with a coating of cod liver oil. Devastating bait. Been fishing a water for over a season without so much of a bite. Used the above the last two sessions and I have had 7 carp out up to 191/2 lb. Get on this bait lads it is top quality stuff.

Roasted peanut and the squid are bait for beasts pop ups are sick aswell will devastate the lakes anywhere just break one and see the goodness
