We popped in here for a drink then got caught up in a security alert. The staff, particularly the manager, were fabulous. Incredibly calm, friendly, yet assertive. We were ushered downstairs to the basement and enjoyed a bottle of fizz where we felt safe and relaxed. The private room is lovely by the way. Thank you and we will come back and enjoy a slightly less eventful evening next time!

We had a private party for 17 downstairs at Heddon Street & I really can't fault it! Ok the food isn't exquisite but it's absolutely fine & not bad value for the area! & they did tell us about the service charge beforehand. The staff were fantastic from the event coordination to the service on the day. Everyone had a name card & what they had chosen written on it. We had drinks served on arrival & every time they opened another bottle of wine they checked with me first. I have to say the staff were excellent. They made a special day special!

Was great value for central London... Bottle of prosecco and a beautiful share platter for 2 less than £40. Not a pigeon in sight.

Very nice French style lunch with particularly good sea bass dish. Great little spot off Regent’s street.

User

Very good place! Nice fish and chips, nice sweets and good price for a restaurant in the center.

To be tasted

Totally divine! A late eater - I turned up looking for a table for 1. They were very kind and made me feel wonderful - the food was delicious too!

Took our mother out for a Mother’s Day brunch. Food good and very attentive waitress. Free flowing prosecco went down very well. Let down buy two of four courses from starter menu not being available.

My best chicken hamburger I've ever eaten! Fish and chips also repair excellent. I recommend tasting dessert with raspberries, delicious! I recommend 100% :)

User

I thought the service was friendly. The food was delicious. I had the chicken burger and it was the best I have ever had and all for £10. Great value

User

Good service, very attentive staff, medium steak tasty, tasty butter, awesome bread, lemon mint tart was delicious, medium prices, good customer service

User

Fantastic service and attention to detail...coffee was much needed and the food was lovely

User

ive just read some of the bad reviews and I have to disagree entirely. The waiters were very accommodating and very friendly. It started to rain as we were sitton outside, and outdoor shelter was accomdate straight away. I was even offered a blanket which I thought was a nice touch. Food was lovely.

Soup was DIVINE! And when we finished out bread it was topped up without having to ask. Very attentive. Very friendly. And you get what you pay for and more.

Would definitely go back

The restaurant is very well decorated and the staff were really happy and chatty. The food was very good - our two boys really enjoyed their chicken burgers and chips. The only downside - it took a very long time from ordering the food to it arriving at the table (45 mins for 3 chicken burgers and eggs benedict) and the restaurant was only half full. So in brief - staff lovely; food very good but don't go there if you're in a rush

User

Staff were very friendly and attentive, food was hot & didn't have to wait too long .. not a massive choice of menu & a bit pricey but enjoyed it ..but not the pigeons

User

Staff were friendly and service was good. The set fixed price menu was very reasonably pried though only had three choice so a bit limited. We had the cauliflower soup and seabream which were both lovey. Would definitely return again.

User

Went for lunch with my wife and son yesterday.

If you want to spend your whole lunch chasing off pigeons this is the place to eat! Yes your in London and eating outside but wasn't great.

Food wasn't anything special and £10 for chicken burger and chips I expected something that would have at least looked amazing.

Staff were lovely really chatty and friendly which accounts for an extra star.

Was ok wouldn't go back again but this is our opinion,

Overpriced for what it is, unfortunately it's in London and people tend to get greedy when pricing menus.

User

It was a bottomless brunch and they ran out of prosecco !!!! And the staff barely apologised and gave us cheap wine as a replacement ! The waitress was far from friendly and they accused of not paying right when we did

User

Apart from the mouse that ran past me... everything else was ok. Nice staff but don't think I'll return.
