Auberge Brasserie

We sat outside in the glorious sunshine under the beautiful display of flowering baskets eating a really lovely lunch!

This was the 1st time I have been to this restaurant it was recommend by a friend who accompanied me. The food was excellent and the service first class. Will certainly visit again when on Southport.

This place is my favourite.. had some fab times on tribute nights and Sunday lunch ..Food is excellent..staff are lovely.. See you in April with my friends..�x

Superb! Very good choice and the food was perfect. Acceptable waiting time between courses and there was no rush to get you out nothing was too much trouble. Would highly recommend it but book first ! Would come back again.

Lovely food, attentive staff, lovely wine and personable front of house what more can you want. Great time had by all celebrating 2 birthdays.

Have been visiting this restaurant for many years now and have always found the owner and staff so friendly and polite without being obtrusive. The cuisine is always excellent as are the wines and the three course options very good value. All in all we are very happy customers and look forward to having many more lovely meals there.

Had my 50th birthday there in November. Amazing place, food and staff especially Russell and Linda friends for many years xx

Had another excellent meal at the Auberge. Have been going to the Auberge since it first opened which must be 25 years ago. Food is always delicious and well presented. Staff, and the owner, are friendly and professional. In my opinion it’s one of if not the top restaurant in Southport purely because everything has been consistently good for all the years.

Great place,food, surroundings and staff. Fully recommend this lovely restaraunt.

You don’t expect wonderful food at this time of year & when you see at other large parties.

But tonight the food was superb, the service was excellent & Russell gave you the welcome of a long lost friend.

All this & I haven’t even said what excellent value for money.

Worth coming from Cheshire. Thank you, to all the staff & Russell for a perfect Christmas party.

After eating at Auberge regularly for the last 25 years I can honestly say what a fantastic restaurant! Food service and ambiance cant be faulted time after time No suprise this restaurant has been at the top for so long.

Can recommend to anyone that wants a unrushed relaxing experience with quality food in Southport. Its the place!!

16th-anniversary, meal here .The staff are great and the food was excellent . Nothing is too much trouble for them . We have been coming to this restaurant since it opened and have never had a bad meal and have continued to come even though nine years ago we moved 32 miles away. Hopefully come again for our family Birthday/Anivsarys/Chritmas/ and Treats. See you all soon

we came here for NY Eve dinner and dance, the staff are always lovely and courteous, for a new years eve menu, it wasnt as exiting as we thought it would be for the price, but having said that, it was cooked as usual to perfection, and the entertainers was good, and on the PLUS side as we live local we didnt need a taxi home perfect thankyou Auberge once again.

Kelly and I went to Auberge on NYE, meal was excellent and the entertainment and atmosphere great. Very busy and the staff were rushed off their feet so full credit to them, they still provided great service. Thank you 🎉🥂🍾

Sat down on time given a wine list then after 10 mins went to bar to get a drink told would bring it over, another 10 mins I think manager came to take our food order and we had not even seen a menu or drinks, no complaints regarding food though, slow service but would try again

Had a poor experience. Brought our wine quickly but then had to wait ages (probably over half an hour) for our starters, which were very nice, Then had to wait at least 45 mins for our main. When it arrived my fish had obviously been sitting in the kitchen waiting for my friends chicken to be cooked! It was so dry on top I could not cut it and dry all the way through!! I complained. The chef came out to apologise and cooked me another piece of fish which the waiter dumped on top of my original meal. Any other decent restaurant would have replaced the whole meal! We were paying for a 3 course meal so the owner apologised and said he would take of the price of our 3 desserts which by then was too late to eat! This took 2 hours in total and £6 was taken off for 3 desserts. Since when did a dessert only cost £2??? I call that a bad experience!!

Food was ok, drinks were overpriced and when taking a sick family member out for dinner we proceeded to have a table behind us that were actually talking over us proceed to swear at us while raising their hands to directly complain at us for moving tables because *we* were too loud. When pulling up the manager on duty 'George' apparently, we weren't even offered an apology. Unacceptable service.
