such a cute, homely cafe ... lovely atmosphere with plenty of choice on the menu .. this occasion we just wanted a hot drink and a cake .. picked a scone with cream & jam .. had to share as it was huge ... great prices too .. one of our favourite places now :)

User

Went for Mother's Day and, we had a fabulous time. The staff were as lovely as ever and, the food was excellent - I love the atmosphere here and, mum had a brilliant time - thank you Aubergine's 👍😃

User

We LOVE this place. We go to West Kirby as often as we can, and would never go anywhere else. Our loyalty comes from the best location, the VERY best cup of coffee, and the staff are so nice The lovely guy (who might be the owner?), when we went today and I told him it was my husband's birthday, brought him cake with a candle in it...it made our day. Thank you! XX

Very friendly service. Food excellent, had posh afternoon tea with fish and chips, mini pizza, chicken wraps and smoked salmon then Han and egg sandwiches. Lemon posset and fruit scones to finish. Amazing. Lovely surroundings.

User

The beautiful decor combined with the friendly and helpful staff creates a very warm and pleasant dining experience. The food was also excellent quality. I will certainly be coming back whenever I'm back in West Kirby. =)

User

One of the most delicious lunches I've ever had. Very friendly and helpful staff.

I can recommend the Stilton and avocado sandwich, and the soup was lovely.

User

Its the 2nd time we've been to the Aubergine for lunch and it still did not disappoint. We just love the ambiance cos its so quirky. My husband and I had a soup and sandwich but it was truly lovely ,lots of choices and freshly made.Well done we will defiantly be going again and we tell our friends.

User

I can't say enough of how lovely this place is from the warm welcoming nature of the staff to the delightful selection of food and beverages including so many varieties of loose tea. We spent 2 hours of our 18th Wedding anniversary having breakfast at this beautiful cafe and it was worth every penny. Thank you too all at Aubergine Cafe!

User

Have been to this cafe many times and have never been disappointed. The food is yummy and the service is really good. Love the quirky decor around the cafe. Would definitely recommend it!!

User

Great morning in aubergine this am, great coffee, beef sandwich to die for me, scrambled eggs & avocado for husband and kids had pancakes! Food was fab-our favourite venue now despite the travel to get there

User

Gorgeous cafe with stunning food and some of the best cake ever

User

Brilliant place to relax and enjoy a coffee or tea. Their selection of teas is excellent, the staff are top class very friendly, polite and extreamly helpful. The food is superb especially their breakfasts and reasonably price too.

User

Beautiful little gem

User

All good, nice food & service. & no complaints.

Good selection of things you rarely see in the chains (like home made cakes...) & seats outside where you aren't breathing car fumes too.

A bit on the pricey side, but you get what you pay for...

User

Delicious food. Lots to choose from. Only draw back is the cold draft from the door opening and closing.

User

An inventive and exciting menu with a varied choice.

User

Really disappointed today. 2 hot chocs, a crumpet and a toasted tea cake, £10.50!

Tea cake came out first, on a slab of wood (can't beat a proper China plate, not to mention poor hygiene) half cooked, no cutlery and 2 soggy, melted pats of butter so it was a DIY affair too! 10 mins later the crumpet appears, same method of serving, followed a good few minutes later by the hot choc, served with broken Oreo biscuits! Is this a trendy new thing I've missed out on???!!

Come on Aubergine, we've been coming in for years, don't change too much. Some people like quaint china plates and a pre buttered tea cake!!

User

Lovely cafe but the staff team were young and inexperienced, mistakes made with orders for several customers, including ourselves and the table spayed and cleaned while we we still sitting at it, other than that a nice cafe with a nice menu
