The Audiocoin was conceived back in 2012, to help, support and nurture the financial eco system of new music website Aurovine. Inspired by the new crypto currency revolution and the original success and growth of Bitcoin, the founders of Aurovine decided they needed a new digital currency to bring to market, with a view to supporting and nurturing the struggling music industry and the artists involved. On the back of the success of the Bitcoin, the question was asked " what if we created our own coin and used to it create a new digital economy for the music industry?" Artists could really benefit from this alongside the people within the music eco-system that provide services to artists, such as PR, management, publicists, pluggers, studio engineers and producers. So the Audiocoin (ADC) was created. 10. 5 billion of them! The Audiocoin rewards both the artist and fan. Every time a fan signs up to Aurovine, they`re rewarded with Audiocoins. When they share, rate or buy a track, both the artist and fan is rewarded with Audiocoins. Every time this interaction occurs, both parties are helping grow this new musical eco system. But this is just the start. Of course this is all underpinned by the Blockchain, the technology that is giving creatives and free thinkers license to try something a little bit different. The Audiocoin is at the heart of all this and is the only crypto currency designed specifically for the music industry. The ongoing Covid pandemic has highlighted more than ever have financially weak and unfair the music system is to the vast majority of artists, and the time is now for change and a new way of operating.
