Our first time at Australasia last night and we had the most amazing time! Fantastic service and the food was out of this world. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves will definitely be returning!

I love Australasia. I have visited many many times over the last few years. We went on Wednesday this week. The food and cocktails were delicious as ever. I tried the new cheesecake - the peanut butter ice cream was gorgeous (only for the very rich sweet toothed person). The rice pork balls are also fab. The service was fantastic - apologies that I don’t know the waitresses name, she was lovely. The staff welcoming and seating us were also lovely (I’ve only ever had 1 bad experience with one of them who doesn’t appear to work there anymore I’m pleased to say). My mum was given some ice cream with a happy birthday message which was a lovely touch. At no point were we rushed. Tip for people going, if you like restaurants that are not too busy, you prefer not to be rushed, you don’t like dress codes/want casual, weekday lunchtimes are the best times to go. I suspect in the evenings, especially at the weekends it is a very different place (which is why I don’t go at that time/those days).

First visit to this place and I must admit I was pleasantly surprised. The food was amazing, haven’t enjoyed food this much in a long time. Flavours were awesome and I really enjoyed how the food arrived in waves when it was ready. Would definitely recommend a visit! Not over priced either. We didn’t book and were lucky enough to get a table but I would recommend booking as it was pretty busy.

Delicious food and cocktails, beautiful surroundings and fantastic service. Unfortunately can’t recall the name of the lady looking after us, but have to say - couldn’t fault anything!

Definitely 5 star ⭐️ Service Greg was amazing made our time having dinner perfect full of suggestions and knowledge. Food was amazing the crispy pork belly with pineapple curry is a must ! And the porn star martinis were pretty damn good too, great location walking in the glass enterance disappearing under the ground just added to the ambience. We will be back and you must visit.

Australasia... best in Manchester...the menu says it is mainly sushi ... but that is only the start of it .. most dishes a Asian food ... try it you won’t be disappointed....👍🏿👌

An amazing restaurant. Greg was so attentive talking us through food and wine menus. The food was just fabulous and the cold Gavi was amazing. Oh and not to mention the lovely desert and special Anniversary plate they did for us. We will be returning. Thank you for making our Anniversary lunch so special. Xx

Absolutely stunning meal an the service was faultless. We had sushi an oysters to start with, then fillet steak and finished off with the chocolate soufflé! Perfect! Can’t wait to come back!!! Cocktails were superb too �

Well after waiting almost an hour and a half for a table we where beginning to think that was time we wasted but that turned out not to be the case, I was dining with 2 work colleagues from the US and I must say they were as impressed as I was after the wait the food was amazing.



The only reason it is not a 5* review was that it would have been nice to have been updated about the queue times instead of us having to go up every half an hour to check as originally we where told we would only have to wait 30 mins and at several stages of the process we nearly got up and left.



That said would def book next time as I will be sure to visit again when I am next in the area.

Some of the reviews are quite bad considering but I’ve noticed some people say they had great times before but only review when had a bad experience, it’s a shame, we visited for the first time on Friday night, staff were friendly, the decor is cool and the vibe is chilled, greg the waiter couldn’t look after us enough and recommended lots of dishes for us to try plus I got a happy birthday plate, nice touch. Go and visit and try the cocktails great chilled night out 👍🥂🍸

I really think the universal language of a smile goes along way....staff need to learn it. Food was great although I did have to send my main meal back as it was cold. They changed it no.problem. my husband ordered steak and there was nothing with it..so he had to order chips separate....think that is disgusting as it is quite pricey there.

Absolutely beautiful afternoon, fantastic food, cocktails, and beers, your made to feel special from the moment you walk in the place, waiters and waitresses are spot on.

We had a recommendation so we decided to eat there.. it did start well ..we had a cocktails and they was great

We ordered a sharing platter on charcoal , steak was tough and the rib was terrible . The service we got was great but looks like the kitchen needs to book up its ideas massively �

Have been many times and have always told friends it was my favourite Restaraunt . However yesterday was pretty poor, the food was lukewarm at best and the salmon and snapper were Overcooked. Big changes on the menu as well with many old favourites missing. Need to up their game again.
