Kids gaming day today!
9.30 until 12.30, then 1pm until 4. Lots of consoles, Lego and the Sensory/cinema room open too (one space for the music studio this afternoon also)
£4 per child (max £10 per family), just turn up in Unit 8!

Calling for your assistance please!
As you are all aware we have been running the gaming sessions for a few months now and both the Adult and Kids sessions are proving very very popular. This is an area that we are looking to expand on as soon as possible, we are looking to offer Kids gaming birthday parties and hire of the Gaming lounge to adult groups now we have Xbox live accounts on every console.

The reason for this post is for a big shout out to collect up as many old Music CD's, DVDs computer games, controllers, or even consoles that are lying around the house that are no longer required and donate to Autism Inclusive please. Everything received will be used if possible within these sessions or traded in at the Gaming shops in town to further expand our gaming library.
Absolutely anything you can spare would be amazing, we can arrange pick up if needed, every single donation will be greatly appreciated! Thank you in advance 😊

Holiday Gaming Sessions for under 16's are back on Monday (13th August), so there's a perfect opportunity to keep the rug rats entertained for a while!
Two sessions available, 9.30am until 12.30pm and then 1pm until 4pm. Costing £4 per child, (maximum of £10 per family).
Loads of age appropriate games available for the numerous Xboxes, Wii and PS3 consoles that we have been kindly donated by you lovely people. We'll also have a selection of new games to play this time!
... We have a very dedicated Nintendo DS group of kids too so if anyone wants to bring their own DS along, there's lots of Pokémon trading and battling going on too!
The Lounge and the Sensory/Cinema room will also be open for a break from the consoles. Tea/coffee/squash and biscuits included in the price, there is also a pocket money tuck shop for chocolate, crisps, sweets and drinks if required. Parents are required to stay on site at all times.
Vice chair, Jason Podmore (Pod) will again be running introductory music sessions in the new Autism Inclusive Studio, where kids can create their own music tracks from with the awesome recording software we have installed, or record their own talents with the kareoke system and professional microphones! 4 places per gaming session, (2 kids at a time for an hour) at an extra £1 per child.
Booking is required for the music places, but not necessary for the gaming although it'd be lovely if we can get appropriate numbers for the sessions please. I've got a good few bookings already, it's going to be another ace day!

Saturday 18th August 10.00 - 12 Kids art session - Pop art inspired self portraits. Session held in Unit 6 at Brierley Street Business Centre. £3 per child.
24 hour le mans endurance race anyone?
Yup the gaming group are throwing down the gauntlet, we are looking for teams to come and do a REALTIME 24hr endurance race, drivers must be 16+
Starting 12 Noon on Saturday 29th September and finishing at 12 noon on Sunday the 30th September, each driver must do a 2hr slot minimum.

Another fantastic kids gaming/activity day today, lots of fun had on the consoles, the lego, the music studio and of course the ever popular sensory/cinema room (and some chair racing!) Lots of chilled and happy kids, and lots of parents finding a couple of hours to relax and forget their troubles, magic 😉 next one on Monday 13th August!

Competition Time!
Something a little different this time, so to be in with a chance of winning one of our lovely Lego sets, we need to see your Artistic talents! Two prizes this time, one for the adults (16+) and one for the under 16's.
... We are looking for new ideas for our Autism Inclusive Logo (see photo below), with the possibility of it being tweaked slightly or even updated completely.
The requirements are that the design includes the Spectrum of colours shown on our current logo. Entries to be received via messenger or handed into AI HQ by Wednesday 18th July at 12 noon. Two winners will then be picked by the trustees here at Autism Inclusive. We can't promise to use any of your designs, but you never know 😉
