DVSA MOT Update during COVID-19 period We have been advised not to give out the printed MOT certificate, customers are able to view and print off the document from the gov.uk site as soon as the test has been completed. If any customers don't have access to this facility or a printer, we will be happy to print one off at the later date.

Following on from last nights PM statement. Autofix is still open as garages are exempt from the retail closures. Therefore, we are taking the following steps to safeguard our staff and customers so we can carry on with our services, please do not take any offence in any of these steps.
No waiting appointments will be available; Our reception door will be locked to discourage people grouping within our reception area; Entry with be a one in one out policy
... This will be continually monitored and reviewed, and we will follow the guidance set out by the Government.

We have spoken to our Insurance Company and the DVSA about the implications of an expired MOT within a lockdown scenario, unfortunately to date we can not give any advise on the matter.
The current model of having a valid MOT is needed.
