Tesco in partnership with VW is planning to install 2500 charging units for electric cars by 2020. The charging will completely free, however if you want to have a faster service you will need to pay.
The speed of charging will depend on the model of your car and you can leave it plugged in while you do your shopping.
At the moment VW only has 2 electric cars in the UK, however they plan to make an electric version for all their models by 2020.

Jamie cleaned our car after a family trip to the beach. I’m sure we brought more sand home with us than we left! That mixed with the cheese sandwiches and pieces of apple the kids left on the back seats left me thinking my car would never be the same again.
