Autotecnic originally opened in Altrincham in 1995 as part of a nationwide campaign by BMW UK to offer a high quality value service to owners of BMW vehicles over four years old, with the various sites being owned and managed by the local BMW franchised dealership (In our particular case BlueBell Wilmslow Ltd) This continued until around 2001 when BMW UK adopted a new strategy with their 4plus scheme which was based and administered through the BMW UK dealer network. We had by that time gained an enviable reputation in the local and surrounding areas for having a very customer focused and driven business offering high quality service and repairs to BMW vehicles. We changed our name in 2001 to BlueBell Altrincham Ltd and continued to offer our high quality service for BMW owners along with owners of other German brands including Audi, Mercedes, Volkswagen and of course the then new BMW Mini. In early 2013 BlueBell took the decision to sell the Altrincham site as it no longer suited their core business strategy. Consequently the business was sold to the Altrincham management team In April 2013. The Autotecnic name was revived and we continue to offer the same high standards and customer focused service to BMW, Audi, Mercedes, Mini & VW owners today. We are also able to offer our service for Mercedes Smart Vehicles.
