AVA Technologies Limited is a spin-out company from Staffordshire University, one of the UK's leading research universities for Intelligent Security Systems. Having early identified an emerging market need for accurate video analytics, Staffordshire's applied research has subsequently been patented and the capability commercialised culminating in company formation in 2011. AVA has developed a patented and highly accurate methodology for real time and post analysis of CCTV monitoring and surveillance feeds. AVA's Spectral-360 Portfolio uses sophisticated video motion algorithms to protect an area from intrusion whilst detecting abnormal behaviour, such as loitering, running and objects travelling in the incorrect direction. The Spectral-360 portfolio consists of the following capabilities: Detect, Protect, Count, Analyse.
