Avery Recovery Description
RD Avery is an independent family owned business providing all-vehicle Recovery and Garage Services for cars, vans & trucks.
Our 24hr Breakdown and Recovery service provides UK wide recovery of all vehicles from our base in between Salisbury & Southampton. We have fast and easy access to M27, M3, A31, A303, A35 and A338.
We have a purpose built Car Service Centre where we can carry out all general repairs & servicing on Cars and Vans along with MOTs for Class 4, 5 and 7.
We also have Commercial workshop providing servicing, repairs and diagnostics on all vehicles over 3. 5 tonnes including Trucks, Horseboxes, Trailers and Coaches.

Avery Recovery attended the Devon Truck Show over the weekend.We provided a casualty vehicle to demonstrate different Recovery scenarios to the general public. We would like to thank Storage on Site for providing the container, Sheppard Services for the trailer and Pat Duffey for the tractor unit with out their support the demo would not have taken place. Ian, Cameron and Josh put a huge amount of effort in to vehicle preparation prior and then provided the public with a fantastic demonstration of their vehicles working a massive thank you lads 👌

Unit and trailer rollover from this week.
Drawings of the 2019 DAF now at Boniface. The chassis is exactly the same spec as the 2018 chassis that we already operate on the fleet.However the body now meets the gutter line of the cab and we have dramatically increased the size of the rear cupboards over the rear axles, allowing the majority of the day to day equipment to be stored in them.
Busy day yesterday with the snowy weather.

We were invited to Leyland to watch our Latest DAF go down the assembly line, a truly great experience. Many thanks to Gary and Russell@ Adams Morey for making it possible. Picture of Stewart, Ray and Andrew stood in front of the Chassis as the cab was fitted. The chassis is now at Boniface and we should take delivery late June early July.
Job delt with this week no problem
Job from Before Christmas.The Fodens were used to right the unit and trailer,once righted it was winched and lifted back on to the road from the field.
The latest addition to the fleet soon to be operating in the Portsmouth area.
Merry Christmas from all at Avery Recovery. The recovery department is open all over the Christmas and New Year period.
A little job yesterday to recover a vehicle from a local ford. There is a marker post, visible from the beginning of the flood, which showed just under 5ft of water. The car was about 75 yards into the flood. Why risk it. We took the Foden into the water as far as we could (without risking the rear lamps entering the water. We were still 20ft away from the vehicle.
