Fantastic service! After being badly let down by another company (Sixt), Pedro at the priority desk in T2 Arrivals helped me get a car at short notice. Great service and a great car too!

It would be nice if they would just supply what was booked at the quoted price. Watch out for the slick sales tricks.

On arrival i was met by a really nice bloke called "ANWAR" he took my bags as he could see i was exhausted from the flight in cattle class and drove me to the pick up point where i was given first class treatment, i was given a Hyundai i30 which turned out to be a superb car with fantastic mileage..on my return the vehicle was properly inspected and i was given a receipt to advise me the car was in good condition, i was thanked by the car inspector for returning it in good condition. What more could i say other than AVIS i will use you again next visit.

We have booked a van and when we arrived to desk a member of staff told us there isn’t any van available and we can have refund for our transaction. It’s very generous that we can have a refund for product which we haven’t use because they can’t provided to us.
I would not recommend this branch and this company.

After the rental process thought I'd leave an honest review. I booked a Mercedes E Class. The agent tried to give me an Audi A4 which is a class below. Any other reputable car rental company wouldve upgraded the vehicle without any questions if the one booked isn't available but this agent was adamant on giving the class below and had the cheek to ask me "if I don't have the car what do you want me to do" I mean seriously is the agent asking me how he could do his job better? Furthermore he gave a vehicle checksheets which had no marks on it whatsoever I thought my luck, it must be a brand new vehicle. Upon inspection all alloy wheels were scuffed and a big dent on the boot which were not marked on the vehicle condition report. The gentlemen at the checkout made a note of this. Upon return was greeted by a member of staff and he asked me for my copy of condition report. When I asked for it back he said it'll be emailed to me which never happened. In a nutshell for a big operation they really need to get customer service right. Apart from that the car was great in the end they got me the e class that I booked initially.

Absolutely terrible. From arriving at the office it took an hour to actually get the car. Anyone would think they weren't expecting me to arrive for a car! When I finally got it, the car has scratches on all doors, front & back. The car stinks of stale cigarette smoke. I will not be using Avis/Budget at Heathrow again.

We booked the car at least a couple months in advance prior to our trip to Europe. We had a full day scheduled to travel to Windsor Castle, Roman baths and Stonehenge. We reached the rental location in time , however we were told they did not have the 7 seater we had booked. After a hour long wait , we were given an option we could have a manual car or a smaller car ( we were a group of 7 with 2 kids). Nine of the options were feasible. The staff was not courteous and almost seemed to not care. Finally after 1 hr 40 min we got the rental car ( they did offer us fuel of half tank worth for wait we had to endure) . Unfortunately we did not get to spend enough time in Windsor Castle and Roman Baths and made it late for our booking for Stonehenge. The car was great but giving one star d/t lack of interest to offer assistance from staff.

Usually fine, but I've had dirty cars, cars not full of petrol and long waits to exit, even once I have my car, last car I had the brakes were shocking. Transport to and from the terminals great.

I wanted to thank Darren for his service today. I picked up a car 2 days ago and I was mislead with the fuel usage and whether it would be best to get the prepaid tank or not. Today, when I gave my feedback to Darren, he acknowledge the mistake and quickly fixed it. Everyone can make a mistake, but it's of great customer service to admit it and correct it. Thanks

I have been an Avis supporter all these years. Recently i booked my car in Heathrow and one of the staff Dean was very unhelpful and unfriendly. What was shocking is when i told him that if Avis is so rigid towards its loyal customer i may consider bringing my business else where. Guess what he says " its up to you" . Luckily another staff Pedro was very friendly and accommodating. He took the trouble to check my queries and offer a better rate/car for me. Whereas Dean just says "NO" or "Not possible" to every of my queries without checking.
So disappointing....

Nice folks. The car hire was fairly quick and returning was a breeze. Quick shuttle drive to the airport.

Great staff, organised trollies while unloading the car. Couldn't praise them any higher

Going to be honest the service was great even though things took a while. Sweets in the Queue were great as we needed the energy after a long flight.

The car we book wasn't available so they upgraded us at no extra cost. Which was a plus. However I did feel that the staff were a bit slow to operate.
