Avis

Having been seriously messed around by Easirent at Liverpool Airport we were left with no other choice than to decline the car and find an alternative rental. Lucky for us we went to Avis and though we had a few problems Avis sorted them out for us and got us on the road as fast as possible. I would, in particular, like to say a big thanks to Niall who went well out of his way to ensure we had a pleasant experience. Niall was also present when we dropped the vehicle off and this too went flawlessly. Give that man a promotion.

i cannot give 0 stars for trying to contact the company to obtain the car registration number for the bridge toll after being instructed to leave the paperwork in the vehicle

DO NOT USE. They had no van for me but gave me a free upgrade however the van i was offered was far to big for my needs and fuel consumption was rubbish. Too late to cancel as they have found a replacement. I got it late but dropped it back early and they charged me for late return of vehicle all because one of their employees turned up late for work. Really. DO NOT USE.

Do no use this company. Arrived to pick car up an they had the wrong car that was no good. Rang to get a refund and was told I can't have it cause I didn't cancel 24 hours in advance. Joke of a company

I have dealt with Avis for many years and now found they have added a fuel charge despite the fact that I have returned the car full of fuel, they tell me because I did not give them the fuel receipt I have to pay the £12 fuel charge quite expensive when the car only covered 16 miles. Why don't the staff ask for the receipt or tell you about the charge when you return the car

Fabulous Service, Cars are always in excellent condition, staff could not be nicer, Avis Preferred is fantastic , would prefer if the liverpool branch opened until 11pm.

I fly into Liverpool fairly often and have used Avis for the first time on my last visit.
The young lady Elizabeth could not have been more helpful. She was not trying to push extras on to me,(she did mention them).
The car was spotless and no problems.When I returned the car the car park office was closed ,but it was no problem to drop the keys into the office.
A good experiance and I certainly will be using Avis again,they are first in my eyes.

Worst car rental. Incompetent staff.

STAY CLEAR .... Absolute joke, the company that outsources their secuirty checks, ID3global, does not have correct information about people, tried to rent a car, the company said that I did not live at the specifed address, even though I provided them with more than 2 documents that had the specified address on, very dissapointed as this has now cost me a JOB ... will not be using this company again and I would advise others to STAY CLEAR
