Away With Words⎪Language Tuition provides classes in French, English and Japanese language and Japanese writing (hiragana, katakana and kanji).


My teaching method is based on a three-stage structure:

- firstly, I introduce one feature of the language: grammatical, phonological or lexical (vocabulary), and introduce a sustainable means of understanding and retaining the information, laying the foundations for building the following two steps.

- secondly, acquisition of vocabulary is achieved by taking the learners to different environments relative to the topic at hand; moving the learning experience to a different setting encourages the retention of vocabulary as it is immediately associated with surroundings, objects or events in context.

- finally, building and consolidating sentence structures is achieved through various interactive activities which also incorporate moving and ‘changing the scenery. ’
