You may know that fashion is the second most polluting industry, just after oil.
When we started AWAYTOMARS we not only wanted to work with sustainable materials and ethical manufacturers but we also wanted to propose a different business model, focusing on co-creation, responsible production and fair pricing.
To reduce our impact on the environment, we run a pre-order system where you can buy our pieces before general sale, and benefit from a special price. This means there...’s no overproduction of items, as we only make what we need - with a few extras for our website.
Pre-orders and sustainable materials are just the start - we're also working to minimise plastic in our supply chain and we only use digital printing, expending 70% less water than traditional methods.
