It improves both physical and dynamic properties and production conditions, introducing energy savings and throughput increases, with no equipment or process changes. Activ8 was developed to achieve better efficiencies in rubber vulcanisation. It is designed to act like an ionic liquid for speedy reaction rates, and like a super solvent to dissolve the required chemicals during the vulcanisation process. Activ8 acts as an ultra-accelerator and activator but with unique capabilities to interact with filler particles achieving an improved dispersion of cure active components in the rubber mix.
