Layla took home an effort bear on the last day. For completing the warm up on her own with no tears and front landings without a mat. WELL DONE!

The Axis summer holiday break is in full swing, but our hardworking staff have been busying away laying the new carpet in our beams/bars area. A massive thank you to all the staff who came in to help....it looks great and the kids can't wait to use it!

NDP Finals Nottingham 2018
Esther did brilliantly to qualify in both trampolining and tumbing this year. She has been doing well in training considering she is recovering from injury. At the event she battled admirably, and placed a very respectable 6th in the 19+ Womens Performance Trampoline category, and 7th in the 13+ Womens NDP Level 6 Tumbling category.
Mike did well to qualify to the NDP Finals at 15-16 Mens Performance Trampoline category, and was looking good at the ...beginning of both his routines, but sadly crashed in the middle of both and finished in 8th place. We are sure we will see him here again next year! Keep up the hard work back in training Mike and believe in yourself!
Amy competed in the 13+ Womens NDP Level 4 Tumbling category, and placed a more than respectable 4th in a strong field. Frustratingly for her, she was only 0.1 and 0.4 behind the bronze and silver medal positions respectively! Congratulations Amy on a well fought battle, and for achieving such great results this season!
A massive THANK YOU to Steve and Christine who both coached our brilliant gymnasts on Saturday night during orientation and on Sunday during the event itself.
The club is sooooo proud of all the gymnasts who appeared this weekend. Well done to all of you!

As the culmination of the entire 2018 NDP competition series, the NDP Finals at the Nottingham Motorpoint Arena was a fabulous showcase for the Axis competitors to celebrate how hard they have worked this season and enjoy the fitting end to the season with a showcase event. Regardless of ranking, all the coaches at Axis are so proud of all of them for their outstanding achievement and for making it to the NDP Finals.
Zoe bounced her socks off in her DMT group, smashing her pa...sses and taking home the bronze medal! Massive congratulations Zoe!
Beth unfortunately performed a pass out of order in her DMT competition, but still placed 8th overall.
Ellis competed smoothly and consistently as he has done all season, and took joint gold medal in his tumbling competition! Great job Ellis!
Amelie competed in the final flight of the day and after a shaky first routine, clawed her way back up to 6th place overall. Well done Amelie!
A big thank you to Olly and Christine who tag teamed on both Friday night and Saturday to look after and coach the gymnasts. They couldn't do it without your help and support!
Good luck to Mike who is competing in trampoline, to Amy who is competing in tumbling, and to Esther who is competing in both trampoline and tumbling in tomorrow's event. The whole club is rooting for you! Enjoy yourselves!

Our effort bears have been enjoying the sunshine with their deserving gymnasts this month. Here is Kip at Zoe’s birthday party last weekend, having a great time!

Good luck to all of the Axis gymnasts who are competing at the NDP Finals in Nottingham this weekend! You guys are gonna smash it! Congratulations on making it through a gruelling qualification process to compete at the highest NDP competition of the season. (Trampoline: Amelie/Mike/Esther, DMT: Beth/Zoe, Tumbling: Esther/Ellis/Amy).

The heat hasn't stopped our gymnasts working hard in he gym. Dotty Pike was awarded Cody Bear this week for completing her hand and knees front somersault as well as her continual hard work in all sessions. Well Done Dotty!

Summer Holiday Sessions
Please note the whole club is shut for maintenance from 22nd July to 5th August inclusive and there will be NO sessions during this period. All our holiday sessions run between 6th August and 31st August.

great fun had by all at the pre school session today so much to entertain the little one and Mums alike, there not many places that truly cater for 0-4 year olds but axis has cracked it and the staff where lovely too we will Def be coming back soon thank you for a fab morning :) x

Who ever pays your wages guys should be proud to have u on there team. As a fully qualified peadiatric first aider myself and dealt with a few accidents and incidents with my children and others, I was a shaking mess today When my little girl hurt her knee in a complete accident. After attending axis now for over a year and the trampolining team getting to know my daughter's (loud) cry this cry was simply different but with quick action from the team she was attended too and calmed quickly. After being praised off the trampoline very carefully and carried waiting for a lift to the hospital to be checked, the team stayed with us and Gracie left altho only able to stand for a second, she had a smile on her face.

Unfortunatly the hospital was so over crowded, people almost out the door waiting with over 8 triage before us we returned home to some medicine and a check instead tomorrow for her very swollen and tender knee.

Thanks again to you all, hopefully a repeat will not happen again but it's reassuring to know that when those children are doing what they love, they're really cared for too. A big fat cheesy smile and thank you from Gracie � xx

We had our daughters 6th Birthday party here and I can’t recommend enough! They had the best time �

The preschool session is so much fun- my daughter is 15 months & not walking, and this provided her with lots of open space & activities that encouraged her to move, stand & climb. She was so excited and was racing off laughing to herself. Love the toy section, trampolines & soft play, but the bouncy run was her favourite! Staff were all really engaged and encouraging, will definitely be back.

The morning adventurers session followed by the stay and play is amazing. My 4 year old will happily be here from 945 until 12!! Amazing facilities, loads of space and super friendly staff. Thanks Izzy and Rich we look forward to gym day every week!

The Morning preschool session is great. The 3 year old boy I look after loves it and will happily play there for ages! Matt and Oscar are great with the children and the kids really look forward to seeing them!

Our daughter's 6th birthday party at Axis was a huge hit, for her and her friends. They had a great time, the coaches have a great rapport with the children and make it really special for the birthday child. It was very easy for us adults as we simply had to provide some food and drink upstairs afterwards. The coaches asked us at the start exactly what activities my daughter wanted to do, plus they helped clear up at the end. A great place for a party, highly recommended!

Our daughter has attended gym toys and bouncing tots here for several months and has really enjoyed the sessions. They are challenging but also allow the children to build up confidence over time and the coaches are always kind and supportive. We also had her 4th birthday here and again it was absolutely fantastic! In fact she has already said she wants her fifth party at Axis! X

My two children and three of there friends attended the two hour trampoline session today and they loved it.

My daughter also had her 5th birthday party here Saturday afternoon and everyone loved it.

Just wanted to say thank you to all at axis for yesterday! We held out sons 4th Birthday party here. We loved every min! Excellent value for money!! The staff were helpfully and explained everything that was going on and helped gather the children at the end for games. Great way to get everyone together to go up to the party room!! The children loved it and cant wait to book another party!!! Thank you!!!

In the words of Louisa, (3) "Axis is better than sweets and chocolate AND salt and vinegar crisps".

I'd give Matt 10 stars if I could. The rest are good value for 5 though.

I took both of my children to Axis this morning for a session, Ollie and his team were fantastic, really warm welcome, kept all the children interested and engaged for 2 hours! We will definitely go again, highly recommend this fab club

I started trampolining just over a year ago in university, with no previous experience of the sport whatsoever, but immediately fell in love with it and now I'm hooked! Deciding to come to Axis was a huge step for me as I have social anxiety and I'm not great with new places and faces I do not recognise, but my love for trampolining and being able to train over the summer months overran the anxiety and it's the best decision I have ever made for myself! Axis is my favourite part about coming home because the coaches are all fantastic, and they really inspire me to do better and I think they believe in me more than I believe in my own capabilities! In particular, Olly and Ben have been absolutely fantastic with raising my self-esteem and confidence whilst at the adult trampolining sessions, and through Axis I've made new friends who are just as passionate about the sport as I am! :D Highly recommend anyone to come to Axis, it's a fantastic place to 'let your hair down' and have fun!

I cannot do this place justice with words. It's pure joy. Run (and staffed) by people who want you to have fun & succeed, whether you're a beginner or at league level. My confidence in my ability has grown so much since since I started trampolining here, and this has spilled over into other aspects of my life. Incredible place, filled with inspirational and down to earth athletes.

Great coaches, friendly co-bouncers and a fun vibe. The best exercise is laughing but I think this is a good second best. Keep up the good work, Ollie
