What a busy day we’ve had a Future Cheer’s Gateway To The Galaxy Competition. 💫 This year ADA entered not one but two teams into the Comp! Our Academy Starbursts and ADA Supernova’s travelled down to Sheffield after drilling their stunts, jumps, tricks and tumbles so hard for the last year and boy have they improved!! 😍
We’ve had an absolutely fabulous day where both teams have shown professionalism, sportsmanship, teamwork, friendship and above all, how to have a good time. ...We’ve had smiles on faces and even bigger smiles on our supporters faces too!! I don’t think any of us could be any prouder!!
The girls have done outstanding and have smashed their scores from previous years receiving their highest scores to date. Not only that but both teams received Zero Deduction Badges for not having a single point taken off them...something that is very rare and difficult to achieve and they achieved that not once but twice!! Well done girls!! 👏👏👏
A big shout out to the girls cheer coaches Robyn and Becca. The kids have blown me away with how much they’ve improved not only in their strength, technique, difficulty and confidence but also in their performance too. They really are a credit to you and our Assistant Teachers who help out in class every single week. Thank you all for everything. 👍
Another big shout out to our superstar cheerleader Neve who on Tuesday fractured her arm at an after school club. And despite not being able to compete she still came along and cheered her team on like a real trooper. Such a great team player who was super proud of her friends and was their biggest fan! 💗 A huge well done to Ayo who on Wednesday agreed to step in for Neve learning the whole comp routine in just two days. Amazing! All of the girls are so grateful that you joined their team for the day Ayo as it meant that they could still compete at the comp. Thank you Ayo! 💙
It’s been such a great day! Now onto our next event in the ADA calendar...show time!! I can’t believe rehearsals start on Monday. Very exciting!! We Are ADA! I Say, We Are ADA! 💗💙💗
PS We didn’t get chance to get a team pic with the two trophies so we will make sure we get one in class on Thursday. 🏆 But we did take many other wonderful photos throughout the day. I hope you enjoy them.

We’re all heading to Sheffield this morning for them to compete in the Future Cheer competition ‘Gateway To The Galaxy’. 💫 Our Starburst’s and Supernova’s have been training super hard all year for this moment and it’s finally here!! 😄
I will keep you updated with how the teams are getting on throughout the day. I’ll try and go live so you can see how amazing they all are when it’s their turn to compete.... The Starburst’s are competing at 6.02pm and the Supernova’s at 8.42pm.

Our ADA superstars have starred in their very own music video to help celebrate International Nurses Day 2019 and to try and inspire Nurses of the Future. The children all worked incredibly hard and have done themselves and their ADA family proud!! My little rockstars! The whole team were super impressed with how professional, hardwork...ing and talented they were!! Well done guys!! 🌟
Thank you to Gillian and the team at #CDDFTNHS for giving us this amazing opportunity and for allowing me to be creative when choreographing the video. I’m so pleased you could see my crazy vision and with the help from 3 Point Media you’ve been able to make it come alive!! I’m over the moon with how it’s all turned out.
A big thank you to all of the #NHS staff who starred in the video alongside our ‘mini’ nurses. You were all fab and after some gentle persuasion you absolutely nailed it and let your hair down.
