Standby duties at Aylesbury Fire Station, whilst whole time attended an incident.

🚨📟 Latest Incident 🚨 Friday 19 April, 5.23pm
Fire damaging two flats, Bronte Avenue, Tattenhoe Park. Milton Keynes. One appliance and crew from Bletchley, two from Great Holm, one from Broughton, one from Newport Pagnell, the Incident Command Unit from Aylesbury and three officers attended. Firefighters used two main jets, six sets of breathing apparatus, a turntable ladder and a fan. Two women suffering from the effects of breathing in smoke were left in the care of South Central Ambulance Service.

🚨 Latest Incident 🚨 Whilst out training Monday night, crew called to - Chip pan on fire, Hyton Square, Buckingham Park, Aylesbury. Firefighters used a dry powder extinguisher, ventilated the area and gave advice

3 members of the watch today completed their training on water rescue and wide area flooding with others from Brill and Chesham stations #OnCallFirefighters #NotJustFires

🚨 Latest Incident - Thursday 4 April, 11.53am 🚨
Small fire in tumble dryer, The Serpentine, Aylesbury. Two appliances and crews from Aylesbury attended. The fire was out on arrival. Firefighters ventilated the area and gave advice.

Vacant pub severely damaged by fire, Cholesbury Lane, Hawridge. One appliance and crew from Amersham, one from Beaconsfield, one from High Wycombe, two from Aylesbury, one from Berkhamsted and two officers attended. Firefighters used three main jets, two hose reels, a turntable ladder, a ladder and a thermal imaging camera.

It's been a busy week for the unit this week. There was the normal Monday night drill night, plus an additional exercise for the Command Unit to attend in Wycombe on Tuesday night to test operational procedures; all while 4 members of the unit attend a 2 week course to gain additional skills to better serve the community #PersonalDevelopment #OnCall 🚒
