It is great excitement we announce the details of this years Aylesbury on Sea. Come to the Beach in the Park with 50m of golden sand and so much more - all of the details in the link below........ we just need to add the sunshine ŌśĆ’ĖÅŌśĆ’ĖÅŌśĆ’ĖÅ Tag your friends and spread the word

Aylesbury on Sea has a new venue and an entirely new format.
This year come to the Beach in the Park, with 50m of golden sand, Punch & Judy, donkey rides, palm tree climb, land train, tea cups ride, deckchairs, face painting, games, crafts, activities and a special performance of Treasure Island by Queens Park Arts Centre's, Unbound Theatre.
There will be a sandcastle building competition; a gentle zone on the sand; plenty of buckets and spades for you to use and lots of sp...ace to bring a picnic to sit and enjoy the summer sun (fingers crossed).
Everything at the event is entirely free of charge, so you can spend the entire day enjoying all of the activities without watching the pennies.
The Works will be joining us with their delicious home-made ice-cream (charges apply). You are very welcome to bring a picnic or purchase from the nearby shops and restaurants. To note, no savouring catering stalls at the event. Buckets and spades will be available, but you are welcome to bring your own to avoid disappointment.
Additional Blue Badge parking will be available at Aqua Vale Swimming pool, along with a range of facilities for those with additional needs. We are thrilled that the team from Buckinghamshire Disability Service (BuDS) will be joining us at this event - thank you for your on going support.
This revised format is following lots of public feedback asking for more sand, so weŌĆÖve done just that. We hope that you enjoy the new feel Aylesbury on Sea, please do let us know what you think.
At the end of the event the sand will be recycled, however if you would like some sand, please do get in touch and we can arrange something for you :)

To celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the first landing on the Moon, Aylesbury Town Council with UK Astronomy are bringing all things space to Friars Square Shopping Centre on Saturday 20th July.
From 10am ŌĆō 4pm the centre will be filled with a huge variety of games, crafts, activities and information about the moon landing and the wonders of space. Meet a NASA Solar Ambassador, learn the skills needed to become an astronaut, find out about the phases of the moon, touch a rea...l piece of moon rock, explore how moon craters are formed, understand about relative weight on different planets, make and launch your own space rocket, and so so so much more.
Art works from local schools will be on display including factual posters about the Moon Landing and what their ideal moon base would look like now.
So if youŌĆÖve ever looked up at the sky and gazed at the moon, stars and space ŌĆō then this is an amazing opportunity to find out more and maybe even spark an interest in astronomy.

Live in The Park, it's the best event in Buckinghamshire I love live music and the Aylesbury Town Council brings all that to us and its all free.

With a good range of groups and singers and with lots of local bands that a lot of people don't get to see trough the year.

Well done to all the staff that go out of their way to make this town good to live in..

User

Live in The Park, a Fantastic and Free event. Well run with an eclectic range of groups and singers, which included some real talent. Helpful Staff on site, an extremely enjoyable day. Thanks All involved in running and arranging this event.

User

I enjoyed the Park event, It was great fun, the Dung Beatles were great and so were Bustin Loose. The Ska music was interesting, good show.

Well organised as always - Thanks Ruth.

User

Had an amazing time at Live In The Park this year, remarkably well organised with particular thanks to Stuart and Ruth along with all of the other excellent sound technicians, promoters, photographers, security staff and stallholders.

User

Best fathers day so far with my family St soapbox race

User

Aylesbury the town I stayed there long est till my children grew up

I had happy and sad there.

User

Amazing - their Heritage Paralymic Flame Celebration was a fantastic evening for all and allowed everyone young and old, and with or without a disability to participate and enjoy.

User

Very beautiful town for families to live & work in.

User

I only went on Saturday, and I think a combination of poor weather and very dreary music (between about 3 and before Bustin Loose came on) made it a lot less enjoyable that last year. I think the space reserved for disabled was way over the top, as this was almost entirely empty for most of the time I was there.

User

If you would like a walk from your car to the town centre or would only like to stay for a short time, well this is the town for you!
