Aylett Nurseries, a well known independent family business, offers a profusion of shrubs, trees, herbaceous plants, climbing plants, roses and much more. Here you will find all the products and services associated with a first class garden centre. We also have an extensive garden furniture, barbecue department and gift shop. Our covered walkways between buildings and indoor plant house allows you to browse in comfort, rain or shine.
As well as plants, shrubs, flowers and trees we also offer a wide variety of garden furniture and equipment perfect for al-fresco living. Allotment owners will love our vast selection of fruit and vegetables in the "grow your own" section too.
We offer family events during school holidays and the Dahlia Coffee House serves breakfast, lunch, snacks and drinks throughout the day so you can browse at your leisure and have a truly relaxing experience with us.

Outdoor Plant of the Month • Helleborus Verboom Beauty • The Christmas Rose! We have a great selection, some planted in containers, great for a gift or table centre piece! Legend has it that, when Jesus was born all the plants awoke from their winter slumber for a moment. Only the Hellebore forgot to go back to sleep, and kept on blooming. Since then it shows its pure white flowers all winter which is why it is called the Christmas rose!
This variety of Hellebore is particul...arly impressive as it has been bred so just the flower buds and star shaped flowers appear first with the leaves emerging later. So for the month of December it is a lovely plant to use indoors as part of your decorations, and then plant out in the garden to enjoy in future years.

The Nursery Production Team have now dug up the Dahlia Tubers from the Dahlia Field ready to store them for the Winter months. 2018 has been a challenging growing year, the frost in September brought flowering season on our field to a premature end. It is always slightly nerve racking when you start to dig and find the tuber that the plant has prepared under the soil. However this year the long hot Summer has given us some lovely large healthy tuber to dig! Hopefully these in turn will send up lots of vigorous young shoots when the cycle starts again next year!
