Good rooms and decent gym & pool.
However, the quality of food in the restaurant is very very basic and portions tiny yet the bill would imply either one or the other would be vastly greater!
Stay for sure but Forget eating here!
Food was really nice. I used the gym facilities which were great, I didn't use the spa but it looked nice. My room was spacious and the bed was really comfortable.
Great atmosphere. I use the gym/spa. It's great! The gym is a bit small compared to most but its rarely busy. Great overall
Lovely hotel. Recently stayed here with my wife and two young children. Spacious family rooms, nice swimming pool and lovely restaurant. Grab an accommodation and meal deal if you can find one. Very worthwhile.
I booked a room for my daughter and me as a treat, as we were going to a ball here. Wow! The staff are lovely and very helpful -
the gentleman who booked us in was very charming.
The room was very spacious and comfortable, they have literally thought of everything!! We had a great view overlooking the pond.
The spa/pool facilities were ace and easy to use.
What a great treat for us. I would definitely come here again, the evening meal was delicious - looking forward to breakfast!!
Good conference facilities, however the food offered was plates of bolognese, lasagna or cheesy fish pie, as there was no seating this made for a very risky business trying not to get pasta sauce down our fronts.
Well appointed, bit haphazard in layout so maybe not very welcoming at first glance. Service can be hit and miss when busy, and bar does very busy in mornings
I've used the hotel a few times over the last 5 years or so for family meals and the odd spa day and now I'm visiting regular for swimming lessons with swimexpert. I've always found the staff lovely, very helpful and I'm very thankful I can learn to swim here as I couldn't find adult lessons anywhere else. I've recommended to friends and family, and would say for anyone to visit even just for a coffee as it's a lovely relaxing place.
Very nice hotel, friendly staff and good size pool. Food menu varied and of very high quality real ale served which is always a bonus in a hotel. Only downside is it's on a business park so very few other choices close by
