What a great venue! My husband and I had the roast dinner fondue today and it was excellent - very tasty and plentiful! Atmosphere and service were great, we’ll definitely be back!

Went here for my boyfriend’s birthday and it was AMAZING! We had the pizza fondue and everything on the sharing plate was tasty with or without the dipping sauce & there was plenty of food, we couldn’t even finish everything �

Definitely book in advance, as it was jam packed! Will be returning to try the roast fondue for sure ��

Went for the Sunday Roast Fondue today and it was excellent. Shared a 2 person portion between 3 of us and we were so full that we took some home! The gravy was to die for! The veg was slightly undercooked for my liking but that is almost always the case in restaurants. Loved every minute and desert was delicious too! Staff were fantastic and looked after us at every stage x

We booked on the off chance seeing the fondu Sunday dinner and wow it wasn't a let down amazing...the staff were warm and welcoming and a massive shout out to the new waiter who has only just joined the team he was fantastic you should be proud to have him on your team he made us feel so valued.....this alone was worth the trip from Newcastle xx can't wait to be back

Totally excellent our waitress was knowledgeable and made experience better as a result. No complaints food was scrumpy and the beer was varied and exactly as described will definitely go again!

The food, hospitality & place were amazing. Looked it all. I will be definitely going back again.

Sassy service �, food spot on and plentiful, really good vibe! The sort of place you could happily spend a fuĺl day in (and we almost did). If you want good food, excellent cocktails and a personal touch then this is the place for you! Thanks Ben and Maxwell, we will certainly be back x

Went for the fondue roast dinner on recommendation and not disappointed in the slightest

Being keen on cooking and a self proclaimed foody was keen to try - Well presented when arrived and fun way of enjoying a meal for two

Be ideal attending on a first date as no way to be refined when sharing eating and dunking goodies into a cauldron of bubbling gravy

Fab way to see if he or she is the one for you by eating more or less of fave bits of dinner or more than their share !!

Veg was as described by other reviews firm crunchy but totally cooked, delicious and and how veg should to be presented - would suggest if wanting soggy veggies then ask to cook longer when ordering the food

Beef brisket was a good size for 2 to share and shredded easily

The gravy was the tastiest of all on offer

Waffles light and complimented rest of the meal

Staff very friendly and accommodating and not mithering in the slightest just made us aware that if we needed anything just ask

I may have missed the drink size of the draught beer but did appear to be around 1/2 pint measures so don’t expect a pint for your £4.50

Fantastic meal with 2 beers for £34 can’t go wrong

See you again soon 👍🏻

Had the best fish & chips here, great beers and brilliant service. Will try the Sunday roast fondue next time. Great atmosphere and will reccomend to friends. 😀🍺

Delicious food, really relaxed atmosphere and awesome staff, definitely recommend! They don't get mad when you knock your drink all over the floor and yourself either! Thumbs up.

Definitely going back here. The food was excellent and the variety of Belgian beers is extremely good.

The food itself was excellent. There was a lot of meat and vegetables and the highlight is definitely the waffle Yorkshire puddings!



The service and professionalism of this restaurant could significantly be improved by asking staff not to swear around the customers, or hold a staff meeting in the restaurant at 7.30pm, clean the tables and being more aware of what they can/ can’t carry to the table. The waiter we had spilt a pot of oil all over the ground next to our table and then another staff member spent minutes swearing at him and laughing about it while having a loud conversation.



It was all just a bit grotty and the service was pretty awful however I can’t criticise the food and would definitely come back for it. Just a shame!

Great staff and lovely food, we had booked for Christmas eve through Facebook but had lost are booking and they also didn't do the Christmas fondue on Christmas Eve, however they were more than happy to find us a space, would highly recommend this place

We’d seen the Sunday Roast Fondue online after it went viral and booked weeks in advance to go and after weeks of looking forward to seeing what all the fuss was about , my friend and I came away severely disappointed. The portion sizes were way too tiny for two people and the majority of the vegetables were undercooked , verging on raw (would be suitable for vegans). All we got was three potatoes and picking up green beans with a fondue stick is impossible. The piece of beef was barely enough for one person , let alone two. It was also dry. The gravy was so bland , shop bought gravy I’ve had tasted better and the waffle tasted like some cheap supermarket own brand. Everything just lacked flavour. Also , the seating arrangements are far too intimate and close for my liking , you feel you can’t have a conversation cos you have complete strangers next to you hearing every word. The only good thing was the service , all the staff were friendly and nice. I just think the Sunday Roast Fondue is just trying to be too clever and trendy for its own good and doesn’t deliver on any level other than looking instagram pretty.

Didn't think it was great that we came on what most be the busiest day of their week and they had sold out of pretty much everything and wouldn't let us choose from the main menu! Probs not returning either!
