B Squadron The Royal Yeomanry Description

B (SWWY) Squadron The Royal Yeomanry has a long tradition back to 1794 of local people serving as army reserve soldiers.

This page will inform everyone about what the unit gets up to for general information and recruiting.

As the title suggests the Sqn is made up of 3 former county Regiments, the Staffordshire Yeomanry, the Warwickshire Yeomanry and the Worcestershire Yeomanry, who have a pedigree of serving during the Boer War, the First World War, the Second World War which has been followed up more recently in Iraq and Afghanistan by current day soldiers.
