Some of the most important decisions in Turkey have been made over coffee. We make ours in the traditional way - come try for yourself!

Pide Develi is a nationally loved dish and one of the better known classic pides. Diced beef and tomato is topped with parsley and green pepper, then baked into a golden #perfectpide.

The fresh fruit and vegetable markets of Iskederun sell the best produce brought to its locals every morning. An afternoon spent exploring the stalls is a sure way to whet your appetite.

Roasted Lamb Ribs are cooked with tomato and chickpeas until soft and falling off the bone. Hearty, nourishing and full of authentic Turkish flavor.

True Turkish kahve is made in individual copper cevze and heated until a thick foam forms on the top. The ideal Sunday pick-me-up.

Roasted Eggplant is a dish with its roots firmly in the Middle East. With echoes of the famous baba ghanoush, this Turkish variation is served with a dollop of yogurt, a sprinkling of paprika and olive oil.

If there’s ever a reason to get up bright and early, it’s Babaji Brunch. These Eggs and Suçuk are just part of the Turkish Eggs and Breakfast Pide on offer.

Our Nevizade combines the sweet aniseed raki with watermelon juice. A simple yet delicious cocktail. #BabajiPideSalonu

My friends and I went twice. Food was amazing and the staff lovely. The greek girl and the italian waiter took very good care of my friend and I and gave us some very good suggestions to help us in our choice. We got there late but the staff was very accommodating. I wish the waitress who can read in coffee was there but maybe next time ;) ! I definetly recommend this place.

User

My daughter and I stopped in here for lunch. Didn’t have a booking but got seated straight away. All the staff were very nice and the waitress was helpful, translating a couple of things on the menu for us. We had a very enjoyable lunch and would definitely return

Lovely simple, but tasty food. The Pide was awesome

Loved the food, loved the ambiance and loved the service. Food was served fast and tasted delicious, ambiance was refreshing and the service was great. Simple menu, you dont get confused, yet enough choice. My wife, 2 kids and me almost wanted to go back when we were at the entrance, because it was crowded and because of the 2 baby strollers, the personnel insisted on staying and carried the baby stroller upstairs to the first floor. Before we got to Babaji we walked like 6 or 7 miles and finally when we found a place like that in the heart of London we became pleasantly surprised. Will repeat will recommend, cheers !

Omg Becky.. where do I start? I saw this place about 2 months ago and first thing I thought to myself I must try it.

I always pay attention to details when it comes to trying new spots in London so here I am tonight with my besties at Babaji for dinner.

Firstly, the noise was just ridiculous inside like some really louuud and drunken customers kept us mumbling to ourselves that nobody is doing anything about it. The staff are just oblivious to anything you say and they nod to whatever you choose from the menu, absolutely no interest in you as a customer. The food comes in stages and by the time it reaches us almost everything was cold, like bread and the famous pide (was over cooked, dry and bland), the baby chicken being the only really meal which you can name a meal by being served hot and with cold bulgur wheat.

By the way that was like a spoonful of it for one one all of £14 (jokes).

I’m disappointed with the customer service which is the key for any successful business and also the portion of any dishes we’ve been served - absolute nonsense. This resonates almost nothing to the hundreds of Turkish places I’ve eaten at and having grown with food from this country I can guarantee you it’s an overrated hangout place.

Good luck to everyone

If you are hungry and want to feel full after you pay, just avoid this place. This was the first in my life that I was still hungry after I left a Turkish restaurant. Their so called full portion is just a starter in a proper Turkish restaurant.

Doyurucu bir porsiyonu yok.bir küçücük tabak mantiya 10 pound veriliyorsa gerisini siz düşünün. Enayiler gider ancak. Ilk ve son deneyimimdi..

The portions are to small for the price. It's a rip off place to eat. And the decoration not even great blue tiled walls and ceilings. For a health and safety they shouldn't be useing the tiles on the ceiling! Such a stupid idea. Food wasn't great.. First and last visit ever..

Not baby friendly. Bad customer service & cold food!

Went to celebrate my 24th birthday with family. Had to constantly ask for forgotten things, like bread, cutlery and water. Waitress didn't even speak back, just nodded. (Except 1 who I left a birthday cake slice)

Once we left they literally kicked my brother out who was trying to assemble the buggy indoors and get the baby comfortable. He was escorted out and had to get my nephew into the buggy in the freezing cold. Avoid this place!
