I was asked to make a colourful floral wreath and some buttonholes for my friend- super talented Fran from Sewing Circus- upcoming wedding!! What do you think? I included some Daisies, Poppies and just had to include some Scarlett Pimpernels for her oldest daughter Scarlett! <3

Just wondering, if you have little ones waiting to go into Primary School this year, did you get good news this morning? Did everyone get one of their choices? I was so nervous as most of my local schools are oversubscribed but luckily we got our 2nd choice!! How about you? X

Good morning! Some news this morning- I'm going to be closing my order book for a little bit, not sure how long for yet, but I'll keep you updated. Once I finish the orders I'm working on at the moment, that'll be the first time I've no orders in almost 2 years and I think I need time to review Babooshka a little bit. It's my full time job at the moment and I love every minute of it, but basically- I'm having to work twice as many hours in order to make it worthwhile. The rec...ent changes to Facebook have meant that even though I have almost 7k followers, they will only show my posts to a tiny amount - only 9 people seen one of my posts last week! This hasn't helped either, and is a big change to how it was when I first opened nearly 4 years ago. When I first opened, Rowan was only 6 months old and I found that designing and crocheting was so therapeutic when I wasn't having the best time back then. I'll have a little bit of time off to have a think of whether this is still something I can carry on with, and if I reopen my books- you'll be the first to know! Thanks so much everyone <3 Emma xxx
