We are recruiting for Baby and Pre-School swimming teachers in Salisbury, Fordingbridge, Lymington and Moordown, with various different hours available.
The position is teaching children from 0-4 years and would suit someone who is looking for a job working from as little as two hours a week.
... We are looking for fun, enthusiastic people who are can communicate well and would be able to engage with children as well as parents in small group settings.
Qualifications are not essential as we will work with you to build a bespoke training programme, including the STA Baby and Preschool swimming qualification.

Our swimming classes in Exeter take place on a Monday, Friday and Saturday at Ellen Tinkham School. The pool is lovely and warm at 34 degrees, meaning that classes are suitable from birth.
Swimming lessons are a fantastic way to bond with your baby as you become confident in the water together. You will learn how to hold your baby so that they feel supported whilst allowing them to move freely through the water.

What a wonderful event this day always is and this year for the first time in a long time I get to enjoy it as a mum with my toddler!!! And we are there to say hello and also have some Child's Farm samples for you to try! You can even win a whole term of our lessons in the raffle!!! We are delighted to let you know that we will be starting some new classes at Osborne School in Winchester on Thursdays from 3.45pm-5.45pm starting w/c 29th October. We will also be running classes at the same times on Fridays starting in January.
These classes are suitable from 6 months right through to 4 years and it is a fantastic location for all ages. The pool is lovely and warm with stepped entry, and as it is not too deep it is perfect for pre-schoolers as well as parents that aren't overly confident in the water themselves.

TOP TIPS FOR BEING IN THE WATER: Always take things at your childs pace. If they don’t want to do something one week don’t worry, they soon will! Every child is different and the aim is for you and your little one to have fun whilst learning a fabulous life skill.
SOMETHING YOU MIGHT NOT KNOW ABOUT HAZEL: I have three dogs and my lovely cocker spaniel Tilly has had two litters of cockapoo puppies... we’ve had 14 puppies in all! 🐶

The use of songs in swimming lessons can help children feel at ease in the water and it also helps to make the lessons enjoyable for both parents and children.

What are your favourite songs that we sing in lessons?

Learning to be safe in the water is one of the most important skills when learning to swim. Holding on to the side of the pool and learning how to confidently move around the edge is one of the ways you know your child can be safe in the water.

We are excited to be starting a brand new baby class (suitable from 3 months) at Sandy Balls Holiday Village on Tuesdays at 10am.
Our baby classes provide a fantastic opportunity to bond with your baby whilst having lots of fun in the water. You will learn to become confident on how to handle and support your baby whilst in the pool and they will learn to become happy and safe in the water.

... I love teaching swimming, it is just the best job in the world. Being a part of parents bonding with their gorgeous children and teaching them this wonderful and very important life skill is amazing!
TOP TIP FOR GETTING IN THE WATER:
Just relax and enjoy the swimming pool! Have fun exploring the water together and remember those big smiles and lots of eye contact with your child. You can practice lots of things in the bath like splashing, blowing bubbles, kicking legs and floating on their backs.

Kirstin is one of our lovely teachers in the New Forest and Bournemouth areas. She has been teaching for Baby Paddlers for about 6 months.
WHAT KIRSTIN MOST ENJOYS ABOUT TEACHING SWIMMING: ... I really enjoy being part of an amazing sensory & bonding experience, whilst watching both the parents and their children grow in confidence as they progress through the swimming milestones. I love to see our swimmers learning new skills in fun, social and engaging ways, both in terms of physical development and water safety. Big smiles, happy faces and seeing the pride in their accomplishments is a hugely rewarding part of the job I love.
KIRSTIN'S TOP TIPS FOR SWIMMING: Practice the skills you learn and enjoy in between lessons and even in the bath. Singing your favourite songs together, blowing bubbles, little kicks and splashing hands are all important and fun too!
SOMETHING YOU MAY NOT KNOW ABOUT KIRSTIN: Having taken up running again at the beginning of this year, I am now working towards completing my first triathlon in late 2018. I love running along the beach and encourage my kids to join me as often as possible.

We've started going to BP at the Waie Inn. It's fantastic! The pool is warm, the instructor is wonderful with the kids and my daughter is showing great progress after just 2 sessions.

We have taken both our little ones to BP and they're brilliant classes. Well structured, really lovely and well trained teachers and best of all my little ones love it! My eldest really picked up the instructions and you could see his development build over time. Just started with our little girl who really enjoyed her first session!! �

Thank you for the brilliant swimming sessions with my 5 month old Oscar. We are 4 sessions in and love every second! He is getting so confident and loves splashing himself and me! The venue is great at the hospital and such a bonus with the free parking at Hilliers. A lovely informal class and great to meet other new mums!

Sally was amazing! Sessions were always fun filled and friendly and had a variety of activities each week. Max absolutely loved his sessions and if it wasn't for him being in nursery in September we would definitely be continuing. Couldn't recommend Sally or BP enough. Thank you!

Really great friendly and structured classes. The babies get to have fun whilst learning some great skills. Would recommend them to anyone.

Phoebe loved her taster session at Elmers today! Will definitely be booking some lessons. Really fun and friendly.

Our daughter has been going to these classes since she was 12 weeks, she's now 21 months old and absolutely loves it. We all enjoy the classes and she has so much confidence it's brilliant. Thanks Baby Paddlers.

My son has been swimming with Jodie for 2 years now. His progression has been amazing and he is very confident. Jodie is a wonderful teacher and has made every lesson fun. The group is small enough to ensure that the children are engaged at all times. I would not hesitate to recommend Baby Paddlers and Jodie. We will be starting the Baby Paddlers journey again soon with our 3 month old.

My daughter has been with baby paddlers since she was 4 months old. She is now confident in the water and last week swam without an adult's assistance for the first time!! They're amazing with the children and individualise their teaching to fit every child's needs. I would recommend baby paddlers to everyone!!

My 8 month old loves his swimming lessons with plenty of happy splashing in the pool! Alex the instructor is very clear and great with the babies. Great value for money too.

Just started my second term at baby paddlers with my 18month old who was not very confident in the water and viki has been excellent with him and his confidence is improving loads wish I had started earlier - great lessons, well organised and very friendly

I wish I could give Baby Paddlers 10 stars, as they are amazing. We have been swimming with our daughter from 8 weeks old and she is almost 11 months, Kristina our swimming instructor is great with all age ranges and gives the children confidence to grow into swimmers.

I absolutely loved taking my 9/10 month old to these classes and seeing his face light up with excitement. He so enjoyed it and it made my day :D every time. I was lucky enough to win a term in the recent competition and I am so very grateful we was given this opportunity as money is tight at the moment so thank you. Highly recommend paddlers. My son Noah has been attending classes since he was 4months and is now 17months. Laura & her team have been fab & as a result Noah is very confident and happy to be in the water. :)

Fantastic classes with lovely teachers and really nice locations. What I also like is how accommodating they are if you are I'll or can't make a session, they try to allow you to make up the lesson at another time.

Baby paddlers has been a great way to get our son confident in the water. He is only 2 and can now confidently swim around the pool by himself with the use of a noodle. He also loves jumping in, playing with structured toys, using rhymes to support learning and development. The groups sizes are small, only 5 or 6 and it's a really lovely way to meet new parents. The lessons are devised to build on prior knowledge and continue his development. We are now leaving baby paddlers and look forward to starting his pre school swimmers class when he turns 3. We rate this experience over the last 12 monrhs as excellent. The teachers and supporting staff are friendly and approachable. Most of them mothers. I would recommend this to all parents. Thank you again for such a lovely way to get my child to enjoy being in the water safely.
