Bac Rac Description
During my 24 years in Osteopathic practice I have treated thousands of back pain sufferers with all types of problems and successfully designed /marketed several unique solutions.
One of the most significant factors in the outcome of a patients problem is exercise. If the correct exercises are performed well and frequently, the back problems become far easier to treat and far easier to prevent.
With this in mind, my colleagues and I set out to develop a simple prop to enhance the exercises we prescribe in our clinic here in the UK.
After many hours brainstorming we agreed on the need for a prop /support that would actively align, mobilize and decompress the joints of the lower back in a safe controlled form.
Countless props were designed, built and assembled in a variety of materials before being tested within the clinic by our understanding patients.
During the past 2 years, the original design has been continually altered by patient feedback and our clinical evaluation.
To date, our in house research & development has produced a highly effective back pain device that we intend to develop further by developing new sections for Bacrac users to add to the base model and so personalize and enhance the experience.
