my 14 year old son attends the Monday morning Bushcraft group at Herringfleet in the beautiful grounds of the Somerleyton Estate, he really enjoys it and is acquiring some great new skills. Jonathan is a fab instructor , fully recommended it! :)

Samuel loves going to Bushcraft learning new skills and working towards the badges. Jonathan is patient and enthusiastic with the children and you can see how much they enjoy what they do. Bushcrafting is a unique experience which I'm so glad we found. Samuel recently had a Bushcraft joint birthday party with his friend and in his words "it was awesome". Lovely to see him develop in confidence and come home smiling and talking about what he's learnt. Cant recommend it enough.

Myself and my voluntary group completed first aid training with Jonathon on Saturday 14th April. I have to say that this was the best first aid course we had been on and we have been on a great number over the years. It was so informative and Jonathon explained real life scenarios and situations and it was interesting. He explained things in such a way that it made us remember more than we have before and I'm sure we won't forget. So I absolutely recommend this first aid course 100%.

My son has only started a few weeks ago and absolutely loves it, the staff and organisers are so friendly and full of great ideas!

My son has been going to bushcraft club for a few weeks now and thoroughly enjoys it, he's a very busy body so keeps him on his toes and keeps his brain going! Each week that I pick him up he doesn't stop talking about what they've done/made or played with that night. Ruben finds Jonathan most enjoyable to be around and says he tells funny jokes! Ruben has just been on a minecraft day with bushcrafters during the holidays and had so much fun- he can't wait to go agsin next week on the woodcraft day! It's a great experience for both boys and girls- meeting new friends and learning new skills, highly recommend!

My son had a bushcraft birthday party for his 7th birthday and he and all his friends absolutely loved it! They built dens, made a hammer, had a go at archery, lit a fire and had hot dogs and s'mores. Jonathon was brilliant; he was great with the kids and they had so much fun.

My son attended the woodcraft day and had an amazing time. Came home with a wood project he'd made himself from scratch and a whole new set of skills. Thoroughly recommend. We also had a joint bushcraft birthday party which Jonothan hosted superbly and everyone loved, archery, firelighting, cooking the food, foraging and craft making plus more. Brilliant party and so nice to do something different to the norm.

My son attended the survival challenge day today. He absolutely loved it! I have heard so much about all the brilliant things the children did. Will definitely be back in the future!

My 6yr old daughter absolutely love's bushcrafters. It's really help with her confidence in the dark. Highly recommend for girls as well as boys.

My 4 year old and 1 year old loved little bushcrafters! There’s activities for everyone, building dens, chopping wood and little fairies to name just a few. I think my husband had more fun than the kids !��

Jonathon carried out a survival masterclass with 70 nine and ten year olds. Every one of the children loved every minute of it. Very professional and highly recommend

I absolutely love what Jonathan (and his able Apprentice) do and how they do it.

Safety, Fun, and Learning practical skills are all so clearly at the heart of Back to Basics bushcraft sessions, and it's a delight to watch how much my daughter enjoys and learns.

Both my daughters have done the holiday club survival skills and woodcraft x they have both left with massive smiles on there faces and had fantastic days with Johnathan and his helpers they have both learnt so much during 2days and are looking forward to doing more days in the future x thanks again x
