Wow! Just been for lunch and couldn't recommend this place more! Just stunning � hot beef sandwich, with pan fried salted potatoes... cooked to perfection beef just fell to pieces! Followed by these handmade artisan desserts � all delicious, owner and staff are very friendly and welcoming! Will 100% be returning here to try more items from the menu!

Went for the first time this morning for breakfast with my wife, recommended by a work colleague, by far the best and largest breakfast we have had, really friendly and helpful staff, food cooked exactly as we like, also purchased 2 beautiful sausage rolls and 2 beautiful cheese scones for later, spoke with Simon the owner, great chatty guy had to drag ourselves away, Simon also gave us 2 more scones to try, great place lovely staff, can't wait to try Sunday dinner, and Abel the chefs beautiful hand made cakes.......see you very soon Simon. Ps love the tandem.

The food quality was way higher than we expected, my 7 year old Bella tried the Chicken Curry & Rice special. I helped her finish that Bombay Bad Boy off - amazing curry !



Other delights were a jacket potato and special chicken and chips -



Super friendly and helpful staff - very accommodating.



The breakfast on next doors table looked immense too.

This place is amazing, Simon and all the staff are brilliant, the food is to die for, you all done us proud last night, Malcolm had the best 60th birthday party, all the party guest said they had a great time and they would all go again, thanks to all the amazing staff ��

Recommended by a friend and I was not disappointed, one of the best Sunday dinners I’ve had in a long time. Brought dessert home as the potions were so big, just polished it off with a coffee �. Staff were also spot on, will definitely be back!

I took a day off work to spend some time with the hubby as a belated birthday celebration for him. When I asked what he fancied doing he promptly responded with, "I fancy trying that place you tagged me in for the breakfast challenge. I don't think I'll complete it but wouldn't mind trying as it looks LUSH". So off we went after ringing ahead to give notice and see if we could pop in. It was a yes.....well....the challenge is MASSIVE and gave me a right giggle watching him try and get through as much as possible before being put off black pudding for life �. I had the more modest artisan brekkie which was gorgeous. Lovely staff and amazing food from a proper little gem.x

I hadn’t even picked my fork up to pile into my huge beef Sunday dinner and I’d already made my mind up I’d be coming back. Lovely big portions, friendly staff and delightful desserts to take away. Thank You.

Artisan experience supplied us with outside catering yesterday and it was by far the best catering we've had. The food was fresh, cooked to perfection and the presentation was fantastic. We got lots of compliments from the guests. Thank you and many thanks to Iain Mountain for organising the catering. Would highly recommend the artisan experience.

Amazing Sunday dinners, got to be one of the best around! Nothing was too much trouble even with our picky kids who especially loved the puddings! Would definitely come back

Absolutely wicked breakfast this afternoon. Brilliant service and brilliant food. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to eat in Whitley Bay!

1st time visit but slightly disappointed, ordered wrap and homemade chunky chips, but got skinny frozen type fries as they'd ran out. Also had to point out that a piece of a sharp wooden stick was found in wrap. Just thought that maybe they would have deducted a little of the bill, as good customer service goes a long way! On the positive side - ok coffee. Just a shame as I would've have liked to try sunday lunch but prob won't be rushing back
