Backworth Cricket Club is a local club set in the grounds of Backworth Golf Club. Founded in 1874 and a great place to spend your summer!
Backworth Cricket Club Description
We have four senior sides - two which play on a Saturday, a 3rd team which plays on a Sunday and a T20 team which plays on Thursday evenings. In addition to this we have a thriving junior section which fields teams at under 18, under 15, under 13 and Under 11 levels.
Anyone is welcome at Backworth, players or non players! Come and enjoy the sun (or rain) with a drink from the Welfare and support the lads
