Baddow Club Description
Baddow Club is situated in the centre of the Great Baddow Recreation Ground. It consists of a large member's bar with a separate room for snooker and darts.
The member's bar has three TV screens covering every sports event (Sky and ESPN).
Bar Opening Hours: -
Mon - Fri: 12noon-2. 30pm & 7-11pm
Sat: 12noon-11pm
Sun: 12noon-10. 30pm
There are function rooms available for hire.
Baddow Club provides four rooms for private hire, the Millennium Suite and Park View, for parties wedding etc, and two small rooms for meetings.

Room Hire charges for main function rooms are as follows:
Millennium Suite
Mon - Fri & Sun: £15. 00 per hour excl. Kitchen
Kitchen (if required): £7. 00 per hour
Friday 6pm - Midnight £180. 00 per session incl. Kitchen
Sat 9am - 6pm: £30. 00 per hour including kitchen
Sat 6pm - midnight: £225. 00 per session including kitchen
Room dimensions: 50ft. by 30ft approximately
Holds: 150 seated. 200 not seated (max for licence)
N. B. These facilities include rectangular tables and plastic chairs. Should you require round tables, linen and upholstered chairs, there is an additional charge of £9. 50 per unit (round table and 10 chairs).
A charge of £20 will be deducted from surcharge for each damaged cloth.
Bank holidays charged at Saturday rates.
Park View
Mon - Fri & Sun: £12. 00 per hour
Sat 9am - 6pm: £15. 00 per hour
Sat 6pm - midnight: £125 per session
Room Dimensions: 30ft by 30ft approximately
Holds: 45 seated. 60 not seated (max for licence)
This room includes a small Kitchenette and childrens toilet.
N. B . Bank holidays charged at Saturday rates.
Tower Room
Mon - Sun: Full day (9am-5pm) - £50.
Half day (9am-1pm or 1-5pm) - £25. Evening (7-10pm) - £25.
Green Room and Bar Area (after closing)
Members with bar facilities (3hrs) - £40. Non-members - £50.
Surcharge (This is charged for functions in The Millennium Suite or Park View) Refundable: £250 This charge is necessary for all hire, to cover the possibility of any damage.

I hope there is still some beer left this weekend?
On Wednesday morning the beer lorry could not deliver because neither of the 'management team' Sue Clarke or Lauren Smith were at work on time and the lorry drove off. They tried to re-deliver on Friday morning but again nobody at club??? I know this because the delivery driver called me both mornings to ask why nobody was on site?
Nothing like this this ever happened on my watch so perhaps the incompetent management team should be told to get to work on time to receive the beer delivery hey?
Thanks for all the personal messages of support from members and staff. As many of you know my assistant managers Sue and Lauren wanted me out for their personal gain with Sue wanting to be manager for a very long time. I'm sure she will achieve that especially as she is very good friends with the chair person, a very unhealthy situation for the club that the other committee members are aware of and is common knowledge to many members.
My solicitor is confident I have a very strong case particularly with the defamations of character as there is absolutely no evidence other than lies and rumour. Thanks again to all my supporters. Very much appreciated. Jon (ex manager).
The witch hunt is finally over.........Sue Clarke,Lauren Smith &Co. have got what they wanted and got me the sack with their lies and deceit.Obviously I will be taking the club to court for unfair dismissal. And for those of you who said nasty lies about me I will also be taking you to court for defamation of character .... I have it all in writing and given your statements to my solicitor ....So Sue Clarke, Lauren Smith and Michele Russell I hope you've got deep pockets because it's going to be expensive ... Come along for a great night of entertainment in the members bar with music by the Strawberry Blonde Duo.
Saturday July 22nd - 8.30pm Members, Guests and Children come along for a great night of entertainment at our family Karaoke evening. Free squash for all children under 14 yrs There will be a Name the Teddy competition.
And the winner of the Cricket draw is Pete Wardle Congratultions from everyone at the Club.
Saturday Night Entertainment - July 1st, 8.30pm Come along for a great night of entertainment in the members bar with music by Denyse Donnell.
Ticket are still available for the hit show 'Half A Sixpence' on Thursday July 6th. Tickets are £50 and include a coach. Booking forms are available at the bar.
Bank Holiday Weekend - April 29th - May 1st
Next week we will be holding our club open weekend. On Saturday 29th and back by popular demand 'The Nook' will playing in the members bar from 8pm.
Then on Sunday 30th we have a family fun day with children's entertainment and music by Paolo Moreno in our Millennium Suite from 6pm. On Monday 1st there will be craft stalls and more entertainment. Everyone welcome.

Complete Madness - Friday April 14th, Doors open 7pm
Come and see the best Madness tribute band playing on Good Friday in our Millennium Suite. Tickets still available from the bar. Members £10 Guests £20.
Friday 17th March - Cheltenham Gold Cup Day - Members bar open all day for the racing.
