As this stroker LCR 1M nears completion, we're wondering just what she's going to be capable of. It's an interesting spec, power figures remain to be seen. But one things for sure, we should be seeing some early torque onset ! Just a few More pieces of the puzzle left, fabrication of exhaust to come and fitting of its IECU. We're not far from the first key turn 💪.

Another S3 returns for more upgrades. K04-380 previously fitted, Rods etc, now received tufftys old larger inlet manifold, and we swapped out its airtec for wellycooler setup, added second wmi nozzle, fitted ignitron ecu, mafless, 3bar map sensor.... And see 36bhp gains... Nice

And now for something slightly different! Very well put together car on the dyno today. Newer wave polo, with the old faithful 1.8t 20v installed! A credit to its owner, and shows how conversions should be done. If you wish to bring us a converted car, please make it to this standard :D.

Bit of K04-380 combined with Ignitron Ecu on this fine Saturday, 377+ hp currently, This is on v-power still to switch to the race fuel the customer plans on running, but this will be nicely accomodated by the IECU using the optional fuel preset switch 💪.

Ickle Lupo regains it's highest power k04-380 crown again (just.. Lol). Now runs ignitron ecu. Mafless. Next will remove its maf physically, and reconnect its second wmi nozzle up (post throttle body) and see if any mores going to come out of it. 18psi onset building to 24psi up top.

Ceramic coated k04-380 manifold and hotside done for customer. Now available option on all our k04-380 hybrids and big turbo manifolds / g25 series. Website being updated shortly.

Stages of reworking a Chinafold into something which flows well with our k04-380 package. Key features for those doing their own (no we dont/cant do this for you). Collector is bored from 40mm as made (std size) to 47mm. It is bored 18mm deep. Then by hand with carbide cutters and flap wheels progressively shaped to whats pictured. The runners themselves are opened to 42mm from their as cast 33mm size. They are port centred, exactly to gasket (castings often are 6+mm offset ...which can obstruct flow... The runner ports are then blended with carbide, flap wheel, & aquablasted. Also, turbo mating face is machined flat. You cannot trust them to be flat as supplied. Lots of work. But here's no viable reliable high flow k04 exhaust manifold than this. (and this is shit as its made originally, hence needing all this extra effort to make it decent and usable)

1 series bmw 118d in today for stage 1 map. 126k miler only a few bhp down on factory new figures. Not bad for 10 years. Nice 60+lbft of torque gain. Before and after plots below. £250+vat Inc before and after dynos.
