We are an independent children's bookshop, situated at the bottom of Cliffe High Street.
We have the perfect selection and recommends from new born to young adults.
Although we specialize in children's, any book as long as its in print can be ordered in.

Situated in the beautiful town of Lewes in East Sussex, Bags of Books is one of only a few independent bookshops dedicated exclusively to childrens books.

Our knowledgeable team of staff have been providing helpful advice and recommendations to children, parents and teachers since the shop was established in 1991.

We stock one of the largest ranges of childrens books in the south east, from babies first books, to the latest teenage fiction. We also have a wonderful selection of non fiction titles, books on C. D and D. V. D's.

Bags of Books offers extensive services to schools. We are committed to assisting teachers discover fresh, inspirational, quality texts to take back to the classroom. We also work with schools closely to organise author events, book signings and book fairs.
