Had the Jehovah's witnesses in again today. They left me some light reading but didnt buy anything. Again. Not even when I said I felt sure that God was hiding in this very leopard print purse.

9 years ago today we opened the doors to an empty shop with a few dozen bags. Its rare to have a warm birthday so... we gonna buy some booze and sit in the sun.

Two bits of shop news this week, firstly and sadly on Monday we lost our long time shop dog who spent many days in the shop and up and down the Passage. He is missed at moss already. Secondly his owner and owner of the shop Chris is going to run the London marathon this Sunday and after virtually no training needs all the support he can get. Its for a very good cause close to our hearts. It will be our last sponsored run for many years so please help. Discounts for sponsors, obvs. Thanks :)

it's a quiet rainy day in Islington but we're smiling because a lovely customer just gave us a Bernie badge that was given to her by Jacob, Bernie's nephew ! - we never do promotions, however 20% off this weekend for anyone who says "Bernie for President" when buying :)

This is Bill. When the Evening Standard went free, Bill started going up to Angel to pick some up and then drop them by the shopkeepers and some older local residents of the Passage. Always smiling rain or shine. Be like Bill.
