Graham Bowie is a solo David Bowie tribute act from Liverpool, United Kingdom. Formerly a church choirboy, Graham had an introduction into music at an early age, playing piano, guitar and trumpet by the age of ten, and regularly sang along with the many Bowie hits of the time. He became subconsciously aware as time passed by of the uncanny resemblance to the dulcet tones of one of his "Heroes", but never acted upon it. Throughout his on/off musical career, Graham has fronted ...both Rock and Indie bands and has only returned to the music scene in the last few years performing many Bowie hits in his solo set. After countless comments about his vocal similarity over the years, aswell as his genuine love of David Bowie material it was agreed that this year, 2016, would see the birth of his tribute act, Graham Bowie. Grahams aim is to perform the best of the Greatest Hits of David Bowie and give the audience an experience to remember. Long live the The Thin White Duke!

What a beautiful restaurant!

We visited Baha last night, Located just by The Fizzy Tarte, from start to finish, this place was perfect, from great service, cocktails to die for, to 5* food! My partner brought me here for my Birthday and we both agreed it's the best meal we've ever had! They even brought me out my dessert with sparklers and sang happy birthday to me, it made my night The service was friendly, efficient and very professional. The price isn't for those who want a cheap meal.. you pay for quality and quality is exactly what we got! The place itself has a lovely setting, just wish there had been some entertainment on as the other nights have, as I imagine we would have stayed longer! However, being right next door to the Fizzy Tarte, with 241 cocktails before 7:30pm.. we couldn't resist heading there next!

Thankyou Baha for making my birthday memorable xx

Visited with my husband yesterday for Sunday lunch & we weren't disappointed. It was very busy but the staff were still attentive & service was quick. We had the Sunday lunch sharing board & it was beautiful. One of the best roast dinners I've had with proper homemade Yorkshire puddings. There was plenty of food for both of us & neither of us had room for dessert (unusual for us!) . Very reasonably priced, great atmosphere & lovely surroundings. We will definitely be returning.

User

The only place I have eaten at that serves scotch eggs the way I would serve them. Crispy, well seasoned and a runny yolk. Staff are friendly and nothing is to much trouble.

Full pig platter was presented very well, black truffle butter was a very nice and welcomed touch.

User

Stayed in Bowness for two nights and absolutely loved this place. We had such a laugh every time we visited ...... which actually turned out to be 2-3 times a day for their espresso martinis! All the staff including owner were welcoming and friendly even after trying to gate crash someone’s birthday party big high 5 to the door men putting up with me bouncing around like letter pan for 2 nights! The food and drink were top notch as well. Defo recommend sitting at the cocktail bar and get to know these guys as they made our trip away a hang over to remember! See you soon guys H

User

Pristine interior - a lot of time, hard work, vision and imagination has been given to the look and feel of the place... amazing, welcoming, Professional and friendly staff; and of course, Kay and the team are the host(esses) with the mostest.... such a laid back atmosphere; if you visit Bowness, you really need to give this place a try

User

First time at Baha last night and loved it . The food was wonderful and Florin our waiter was fabulous, very attentive and polite. Next time we’ll remember to book in the restaurant however the bar was still perfect. The two doormen outside and all the bar staff and waiters were great . See you all again

User

Excellent. Always loved the fizzy tarte and its cocktails. Baha offers a nice range of classy spirits for a person looking for a more exclusive night out. Some great tasting Rums on offer. Great staff that were really helpful in showing us up to the club and then showing us the VIP on offer. Very friendly doorstaff intent on keeping the riff raff out. You know the ones that tend to spoil decent folks nights out :-)

User

Definitely not for the cheapskates of the world, from the outset the place looks sleek and elegant,on arrival we were pleasantly greeted and sat downstairs in the bar area looking at the drinks menu ,we were shortly took upstairs to our table, the server took our coats which was a nice touch, our cocktails arrived and they looked and tasted amazing, I had the 10oz rump steak with bbq sauce and triple cooked chips and it was all just to die for and cooked to perfection, had a sticky toffee pudding for dessert too and even that was faultless, definitely worth every penny and a must visit even if it’s just for a drink, just wish there was one of these in Preston

User

Amazing!! Me and my girlfriend went today and had the Sunday roast sharing platter and it was fantastic, every part of the meal was cooked perfectly and tasted great. The staff are all very welcoming and professional. The restaurant's decor and ambience is fantastic and the live music is a perfect accompaniment. We will definitely be returning soon.

User

Amazing night last night at Baha bar, the female singer who player piano/guitar was truly amazing. Joe the bar server made me the best cocktail ever that I had to have 5

Highly recommend if you want a fun, relaxed evening in Bowness.

User

We had Sunday lunch this weekend. The food was lovely though no one approached us during our meal to ask if everything was ok. As it happens I would have liked more gravy on my roast beef! I didn’t really want to trek to the bar to ask so I just had it as it was.

Our main issue was the ridiculously loud piano singer. I’m sure in a busy venue he would have blended in a bit better.....it was just a tad ott for a Sunday afternoon!

User

Second time I have visited on a Sunday we dined upstairs with children. Service could off been a bit more attentive waited 25 mins for someone to take our order then about 40 mins for food the toddlers and 11 year old were hungry. The staff were friendly and food was very good staff just need hurrying along

User

Me and 4 friends bought tickets for the baha Xmas party last night. The food was fantastic and the staff very attentive however we were really disappointed by the dj on the second floor. A good mix of Christmas tunes were playing during the meal but once that was finished the music went really downhill. We asked if we could have some more Xmas tunes but were told that wasn't what the dj wanted to play. That was very unfortunate so we ended up going downstairs where the dj was really accommodating, played a good mix of Xmas tunes, older dance tracks and recent music.

User

Boom boom boom let me hear you say way oh. Way oh.

No I'm not an out here brother. I was an in there brother and I liked it here a lot.

User

Went here to celebrate our first anniversary and was so excited. The venue itself and the staff were amazing and didn’t disappoint. However, the food was a major let down. We ordered the sharing grill £65 and, first of all, it arrived and sat for 10 minutes waiting for the sides to arrive so we had to send it back as it was cold. After being told we would be brought a fresh one we then had the same one brought out. There was supposed to be a quarter of a chicken that was no bigger than an average leg. I would definitely come here again but only for drinks. The food was overpriced and no better than an average pub meal.

User

Visited yesterday for the first time since the menu change and I have to say that I feel it’s ruined the restaurant a little, it basically feels like a glorified pub upstairs now. Burgers and pizzas that you can get downstairs. Unfortunately i don’t think Ill be back for food there again.

User

The venue is absolutely lovely but the service was not what I expected to accompany it. I’ve been so excited for several weeks to come and try out Baha. Three of us went with the intention of sharing a Sunday Lunch Sharing Board for £11.95 each, as stated on their website. We were then told when we were ordering that you can only get a sharing board for 2 people for a cost of £28, so £14 each. The food was nice but not necessarily nice enough for the price we then had to pay. We were placed on a small table where it had to all be squeezed instead of placing us on a bigger table - it wasn’t even busy so wouldn’t have been a problem. The website for Baha definitely needs changing, instead of charging people more than expected once they are already there. Definitely won’t be getting this again IF I come back again.

User

Baha is a lovely bar but we wouldn't suggest going for an evening meal; it isn't a restaurant.

We made the trip there to have an evening meal after being enticed by the restaurant grill menu online and displayed outside the venue, however there wasn't any table service and having to order all food and drink at the bar made it feel like we were in a value chain bar, far from what we expected given it's luxurious presentation on social media.

We'd planned to order steak and wine and didn't feel it appropriate to spend £21-25 on a steak in a self service bar area, So ended up ordering a few staters instead.

We were assured that the actual restaurant with table service will be opened next month on the second floor but i think it needs to be made clear that it is first and foremost a bar not a restaurant as it stands.

User

We were on a Xmas works night out as a small number of staff. We were all far from being 'too drunk' but were immediately refused access for a drink even though we were perfectly okay. Disappointed by this and will not even bother trying next time.
