Bahath

The name BAHATH or بحث originates from the Arabic language and means to search or explore. Bahath sprung from an idea to create a platform where the ideas of young, innovative and exciting Muslims are brought to the forefront. We hope to create a platform that is not only engaging, but also serves a deeper purpose in inspiring, understanding and challenging ideas. We produce a variety of articles monthly, as well as a regular podcast about contemporary Muslim issues, hosted by Bahath's founders. Our challenge is to help nurture the generation of today into cosmopolitan, well rounded but also principled Muʾmins. We feel we can do this by touching on subjects that are often unassociated with Islam, unreasonably taboo or simply ignored by our community as a whole. We also want to delve into the subcultures and niches that make us who we are, and thus open our minds to the values variety and innovation can bring. . . #JoinTheMovement
